Categories for organizing stickers, die cuts, and even paper
- in alphabetical order ~
- Activities - sports, music, art, business
- Animals - all kinds, swimming, flying, bugs, snakes, barnyard
- Borders - micro-shapes (stars, hearts, butterflies), letters, corners, design lines, frames
- Celebrate - birthday, party, confetti, balloons, presents, cake, candles, clowns
- Children - babies, scouting, toys, school, footprints
- Flora - plant life, flowers, grass, gardening tools, trees
- Food - eating, cooking, mealtime
- Holidays - all together or make separate category for large holidays,
ie Christmas
- Home - tools, houses, furniture, fences, bathtubs, garage, telephone, yards
- Outdoors - sand box, beach, camping, pool, fishing, picnic/barbeque
- Rites - weddings, baptism, graduation
- Seasons - weather related, clouds, snowflakes, umbrella, kite, leaves
- Travel/Transportation - cars, boats, bikes, maps, luggage, trains, cameras, traffic

- To keep track of which decorative scissors, paper punches, edge rulers
you already own, keep a small notebook in your purse and record each new
purchase. Punch a bright colored piece of paper from each punch and glue
directly into the notebook. Also cut strips of paper with each scissor and
trace design from each ruler in the notebook. Also record titles of each
how-to/idea book, background papers, colors of paper stock you have,
die-cuts, stickers, and templates. Keep a "Wish List" there too.
- Label negatives and keep them in a fire-proof box.
- Use child size shoe box to store pictures. Fold a half sheet of paper
around them and write page idea on the outside of the paper. Include
die-cut and sticker ideas inside to complete when you have time to do a page.
- 3-ring binders hold various die-cuts, stickers and paper scraps.
Use baseball card holders for different stickers. For scraps of paper or
die-cuts, use ziplocs with holes punched in the edge.
