I do have a country kitchen, but I have to admit, that though I do most of the decorating, my husband does most of the cooking. My son Daniel usually helps him. Daniel says, "mom, you do the cooking because you have to, and we do the cooking because we love it." Well he is right. But I did most of the cooking until I got this computer!

So I let my husband and sons do most of the cooking to feed our bodies while I look for inspirational items to feed the soul. As a Christian, I know the best thing for me is the Word of God. But I do cook and I have my specialties that my husband likes, and sometimes we cook together. Sometimes it is a family affair, but my daughter takes after me and prefers to stay out of the kitchen! She always seems to run to the computer or her books when she is asked to do her part, but she does have to learn, to cook that is! Thanks goodness for microwave ovens!
