BIRDS OF WA
The following photos are just some of the birds that I saw when I visiting there. I found the flocks of parrots the most beautiful. That is a sight we never see here in America. Some of the birds that we have as pets here fly wild in WA. It is truly an awesome site to see.
Black Swan, bird emblem of WA.
Magpie, a very aggressive bird.
Butcher Bird, not sure how it got its name.
Australian Raven.
Willy Wagtail.
White Peacock.
This little lady came to visit us at Murray River.
Little or Fairy Penguin.
Bridled Tern.
I think these are Ibis. I saw these in a reserve in Mandurah.
Ibis
Port Lincoln Parrot or "Twenty Eight".
There following photos are of pink and gray galahs. They flock together and are quite noisey. They are considered by most as pests, however they do make great pets and are very beautiful.
Silver Seagull
