KANGAROOS
There are many different types of kangaroos in Western Australia. The red kangaroo and gray kangaroo make up the largest population of these marsupials. I have several pictures of both species to show you. They are truly a magnificant animal. Being very prevelant most Americans think that these animals roam, or should I say hop, the streets. Well this just isn't true. Yes they are very prevelant but because the days are hot these creatures prefer to spend most of their time laying in the shade during the day. They move mostly at dawn and at dusk. It is very difficult to see them during the day and you really have to go looking for them. To put this into perspective, here in America the white tail deer is very common; but try to go find one when you want to see one. Trust me this is no easy task and the same goes for the kangaroo. I did however get several photos of both the red and grey kangaroo to share with you.

This is how you will find most of them during the day.
Red roos are the largest and this guy stood about 6 ft tall.

This is actually a red kangaroo, NOT an albino.
