AUSTRALIAN POSSUM
The Australian Possum looks much different than the American Possum. It looks more like a cat than a large rat. They are still nocturnal and live mostly in trees, except the one pictured below. It was seen the day before I took the photo in the ladies john during my visit to Busselton. Not going to speculate on the reason why. The next morning I found it in the tree near our campsite. I climbed up about 15 ft or so and took some photos. This was the best one. Hard to shot hanging from a tree branch 5 ft away from a wild animal.
