Latest CD: Hell On Stage: Live
Latest News: Scheduled for a November release is a new CD.
Beginngs: Manowar was formed in 1981 in the U.S.A. by bassist Joey DeMaio (a former Black Sabbath roadie) and ex-Shakin' Street and Dictators guitarist Ross 'The Boss' Funicello. They then Recruited vocalist Eric Adams and drummer Donnie Hamzik and started playing dressed in animal skins.
Generations: M1 (1981-1983) Manowar was formed by Joey DeMaio (bass, guitar), Ross (The Boss) Funicello (lead guitar), Donnie Hamzik (drums) and Eric Adams (vocals).
M2 (1983-1988) Donnie Hamzik leaves. Scott Columbus joins the band. Lineup: Joey DeMaio (bass, guitar), Ross The Boss (lead guitar, keyboards), Scott Columbus (drums) and Eric Adams (vocals).
M3 (1988-1990) Ross The Boss leaves. Dave (Death Dealer) Shankel joins the band. Lineup: Joey DeMaio (bass, guitar), Dave Shankel (lead guitar), Scott Columbus (drums) and Eric Adams (vocals).
M4 (1990-1995) Scott Columbus leaves. Rhino joins the band. Lineup: Joey DeMaio (bass, guitar), Dave Shankel (lead guitar), Rhino (drums) and Eric Adams (vocals).
M5 (1995-20??) Rhino and Dave Shankel leave. Scott Columbus rejoins and Karl Logan joins the band. Lineup: Joey DeMaio (bass, guitar, keyboards), Karl Logan (lead guitar), Scott Columbus (drums) and Eric Adams (vocals).
