This episode starts off with Ash, Misty and Brock at a pokemon center. Ash receives a message from porf. oak telling him to plone him. Wondering what is wrong Ash phones prof oak and learns nothing is wrong all he wanted was to give him a pokedex upgrade so that dexter will contain all the lastest pokemon. Next we find the group in a diner discussing when the egg will hatch and what they hope it will be. Misty wants a Lapras, Brock a golem and Ash a areydactle meanwhile Team Rocket also wants the egg hoping the egg will hatch into some incredible rare and new pokemon. They devise a clever scheme and catch togepi, meowth looks after togepi until it hatches and he does a very good job at it for a member of Team Rocket. Of course Ash, Misty and Brock won't let Team Rocket take their egg pokemon and they follow a trail that leads right to Team Rocket, they burst into and a pokemon fight starts. The fight quickly ends after the poor egg gets thrown into the air! Ash tries to catch it but he misses, thankfully Pikachu catches the egg in the nick of time and hands it to Ash. The egg starts to glow and shake and hatch! Misty buts in and grabs the egg from Ash and the first thing that Togepi sees is Misty. Their ends up being one problem......no one can decide who gets to keep Togepi! So a pokemon tournament ends up hapening. The first match is meowth vs. onix! Mewoth wins by throwing a bucket of water on poor onix, the 2nd is bulbasaur vs. phsyduck. (This in my opinion was one of the best parts of the show!) poor physduck get tickled and licked until he has to give up! The last match is meowth vs. Pikachu, pikachu seeing an advantage uses meowth's charm as a conductor shocks him and Ash wins the tournament. Unfortunately topgepi is imprinted on misty thinking she is it's mother and misty gets to get Togepi!
The Ulimate Test!
This epsode starts with Ash, Snap, Misty and Brock having a snack break everything is ok until Misty asks the inocent question. "When are you gonning to get another badge Ash?" This of course gets Ash a little angry and a fight is about before Snap breaks in and says"Why don't you just take the test?" He of course in referring to the test that pokemon trainers can take in order to get into the pokemon league. This is for trainers who for some reason can't or don't want to journey around the globe in order to get all 8 badges. Thinking this is a great idea Ash decides to go and test his luck on the test. When he gets there he ends up with lucky #7 but he learns that he has to surrendar his pokemon except for pikachu who gets to be looked after by Misty. While waiting to take the test Ash looks around at the other contestants while Snap takes photos Ash meets one of the Nurse joys who Brock of course says is the pretties of all of them. He also sees a familiar face but can't put his finger on who it is, he shrugs it off and sees another familair face but still can't but his finger on who it is. These 2 people are of course Jessie and James who also want to become pokemon masters! For once team rocket isn't stealing pokemon. Then the tests have to start, the first test was to test your knowledge of pokemon. Ash seemed like he knew all the answers, James didn't know any and Jessie just pressed true and all of them thinking she could get 50% of them right. The second test involed naming a pokemon by it's outline( sort of like who's that pokemon) Ash and James were having a hard time but Jessie ended up leaving in a storm not wanting to take the test. Before the battle test was taken the scores for the first 2 tests were posted, Ash and James ended up getting 0% on both of them. Ash was not worried saying his specailty was battling, in the battle round ech pokemon trainer was to pick a set of 3 pokeballs and fight the person giving the test. First up was James, he threw his first pokeball and got a...... pikchu! James was really happy with this because he knew all of pikachu's attacks. He was ready to win but the tester through out a graveler and he ended up losing! James was so upset that he decided to use both of his lasts pokemon( an ivysaur and a charizard) and once and ended up getting kicked off the test. Next was Ash's turn, Ash through out his pokebal and got a wheezing! The tester through out a pokeball and got a flareon, Ash easly won the battle and went on to his 2nd pokeball he got an hes you guessed an arbok! The tester trough out a jolteon, Ash lost the battle when he tried to get arbok to contrist jolteon and arbok got hurt on jolteon's spines. I was hoping the next pokeball would be a lickingtung instead it was a meowth! Poor ash had such a bad team the meoth had to fight a vaporean and ending losing badly when it was frozen solid! Team rocket finnaly came in using all the pokemon they had( except for luickingtung) and the ones the got in the test. Ash just had wheezing explode and Team Rocket was blasting off again. The test had to be started over and no one was happy with this so Ash decided to take the long route instead and get all 8 badges from the gym leaders.
Bulbasaur's Mysterious Garden
This episode starts with bulbasaur and Ash fighting a ryhorn fighting each other, ryhorn uses take down and attacks poor bulbasaur. Ash call bulbasaur back but he dosen't want to return, Ash is forced to fight! Ash tells bulbasaur to use razor leaf and bulbasaur wins the match. Ash jumps for joy but he soon forgets when he sees bulbasaur with his bulb glowing a strange colour. He rushes bulbasaur to the nearest pokemon center. Fearing the worst nurse joy takes bulbsaur to the er room. Thankfully it turns out that there is nothing wrong with him, all that's going to happen is bulbasaur's going to evole! Nurse Joy tells the gang that all the Bulbasaur evole at the same time during a festival at a secert garden! That night bulbasuar and pikachu go out and have a chat, everything is going all right untill a group of bulbasuar's come and abduct poor bulbasaur. Pikachu runs and gets Ash and the group follows the trail to the garden which now other humans have ever seen! Team Rocket is about to enter the garden bit a bunch of vines are preventing them from enetering. From there are venusaur come out and the evolution begins, every bulbasuar evoles except for ash's bulbasaur. Then didn't look good for bulbasur as about 50 ivysaur and one venusaur turned on him. Ash runs in and intercepts them and prevents a fight, just the team rocket come in and starts sucking up all the ivysaurs and venusaur. Thankfully they didn't go forb bulbasaur, bulbasaur uses his solar beam attack and saves the day. After that all is well and the gang is off once again!
The Breeding Center Secret!!
This Episode starts with Ash and the gang in front of a tv watching an advertisement for a pokemon center that is sopposed to evole your pokemon for you. This center Snap and Brock explain is the latest thing in pokemo training the trainer just sits back and let's the center do all the work. Ash and the gang decide to check it out and they find a frenzy of people trying to check there pokemon in. Misty decides to try the center out and leaves everyone's favourite pokemon psyduck there. After that the gang heads downtown and they stop at a restuarant that says all you can eat free! Thinking there is a catch they ask the cook what they have to do to get all you is show him his favourite pokemon. Thinking that one of there pokemon has got to be it Ash, Misty and Brock try every pokemon they have untill the cook finally show them a picture of his favourite pokemon psyduck. So Misty decides to check out psyduck early the only problem is the pokemon breeding center is closed! So they sneak in the back and find that the door is unloked, inside the place to there horror they find all the poor pokemon locked up in cages. It turns out that the pokemon breeding center is run by Cassandy and Butch 2 new members of Team Rocket. They have Snap come in and take pictures just then Jessie and James come in and try to take all the pokemon from the center not realizing the breeding center is actually run by team rocket! So in come cassady and Butch and they do an imitation of Team Rocket's motto. Realizing they can't win with just a ratitacte they trap Ash, Snap and Brock in a cage while Misty escapes. They call the police and Ash and gang go to jail. Misty frees Ash, Snap and Brock by getting Snaps pictures from the camera that got lost in the center. Team Rocket goes to jail and then the gang goes to the all you can eat buffet with physduck! This episode ends with Snap and the rest of the gang saying there goodbyes as they have to split up. Snap wants to take pictures of wild pokemon to the north and Ash wants to get his last 2 badges!
Case of the K-9 Capers
This episode starts with Ash and gang when a robber show up. The stop the robber help from a Growlithe. Jenny shows up and explains to them that they just caught a k9 unit! Officer Jenny then invites them to the police station( where the pig out on food). While at the Police Station Jenny explains that the growlithe is part of k9 unit and they are training them on an obstical course. Ash decides that he and Pikachu should take the course but they fail miserably. Then who comes in but Team Rocket who want to catch the pikachu and the growlithes. So they hatched the brilliant scheme to fill the place up with gas so that all the trainers voices will change and the pokemon won't be able to understand their master. Jigglypuff also manged to get a small cameo on the show where she came in and sung a few notes from her song. OF course Team Rocket's Scheme failed and all was well at the end.
Pokemon Paparazzi
This episode starts with Ash and the gang eating some of Brock's famous rice balls. Suddenly Ash see what looks like the barrol of a flame thrower ready to fire at them! Thinking fast Ash knocks everyone out of the way, but when they look for the mysteroius gunner they were no where to be found. Ash insits that there's some one there so he sends out squirtle to fill the area up with water! Squirtle hits the mysterous gunman who turns out to be Tod a young boy with a camera who wants to take a picture of pikachu. Tod invites them to his house and shows them all the many pictures he's took of pokemon incuding an areydactle the only one ever caught on film. Tod wants to get a good picture of pickachu but he won't say why. Every time he tries to take a pictures of pikachu it ends up looking forced and not natural or he gets shocked. Ash becomes fed up when Tod still won't tell him who the won't tell him why he wants to take a picture of pikachu! It turns out that Team Rocket dressed up as elderly people convince Tod to capture pikachu before it's to late for them. Thinking it's a picture of pikachu they want Tod agrees. Tod ends up following Ash right untill he and pikachu fall into a whole cleverly dug by Team Rocket, Snap quickly follows them and manges to get a few good shots of pikachu until...... the whole collapes and ASh and pikachu are thrown into a water fall! Tod manges to save Ash and with a little help from Bulbasaur fight off Team Rocket. After this Tod agrees to journey with Ash and the gang for a bit!
