Japan National Team was defeated. Japanese Economy was defeated. What shall I do?
Soccer World Cup in France 1998 was held. Japan National Team took part in the game. Japan took part in Group H of the preliminary match. Japan was defeated by Argentina, Croatia and Jamaica. Japan lost those three games.
As you know, in Japan, a lot of titles on soccer are published. Many popular cartoonists drew soccer cartoons. Many female Doujinshi writers draw a lot of parodies of "Captain Tsubasa." Many readers like soccer cartoons.
Weekly Shounen Jump had the title "Captain Tsubasa." However most of the fans are girls. On the other hand, Weekly Shounen Magazine had the title "Shoot!" "Shoot!" is a kind of non-fiction. The title dealt with Late striker Yoshiharu Kubo. He was dead in his youth. As you know, the title is very popular in Germany.
On the other hand, in Japan, professional soccer league "J-League" exists. It is not always popular. The star players of the league are Kazu (Kazuyoshi Miura of Kawasaki) and Gon (Masashi Nakayama of Iwata).
As you know, the headquarters of Japan Football Association believe in European football method.
However Brazilian football style is very popular among Japanese people.
Kawasaki Yomiuri Club and Kashima Sumitomo Club show typical Brazilian football style.
On the other hand, Yokohama Nissan Club and Ichihara JR-Furukawa Club show typical European style.
As you know, the headquarters of Japan Football Association consist of Furukawa Club OBs.
They believe in European method, of course.
They often invited famous players from Germany. But many Japanese players could not learn German method.
Thereafter Zico, a top player in Brazil, came to Japan. He formed Kashima Sumitomo Club. All Kashima people respected Zico. Zico taught many Japanese young players. For example, Yutaka Akita, the famous defender of Japan National Team, was taught by Zico.
On the other hand, Kazu learned soccer in Brazil and played as a professional player in Italy.
Shu Kamo, the former manager of the national team, was relieved of his post, because his team was often defeated. But the next manager Takeshi Okada used the same European method. Okada's team was also defeated. But he believed in his European method in order to fight against Argentine team. After all, his team was defeated by Argentina.
The Commissioner of J-League, Saburou Kawabuchi still believes in European method. He thinks European soccer level is much higher than that of Latin American soccer.

Furukawa stereotyped method controls Japanese official soccer.
Many soccer cartoonists would not understand that system. Many boys who like soccer love Brazilian soccer. Therefore cartoonists drew Braizilian soccer. I thought. Of course, we Japanese have a very weak national team. It will be weak forever. So cartoonists should draw another soccer cartoons.
A boy was born in Osaka. He loved soccer. But his mother said, "Study harder!!!!!" He gave up soccer. He entered a certain Osaka Prefectural Senior High School. He studied harder and harder. He went to Waseda University. AT LAST HE BEGAN TO PLAY SOCCER!!!!! He was the captain of Waseda team. He entered Ichihara JR-Furukawa Club. He gave up playing soccer as soon as possible. He studied European football method as a coaching staff. He was a coacher of Japan National Team. He entered the headquarters of J-League. At last he was the commissioner of J-League. He controlled Japanese soccer. An assassin tried to kill him. He was dead.
Such cartoons are not interesting, of course.
As you know, there are a lot of young unemployed people in Japan. Unemployment rate is 4.1 percent in May 1998. This rate is rather low than that of European countries. However Japanese unemployment rate had been less than 3.0 percent for many years because of Japanese proper relation between employers and employees.
Japan was also defeated at Economic Wars. Many laborers are angry.
In the condition, what shall I do?
A Florida student said to me, "Love More Anime!!!!!"
He said, "I am in college. Love anime, love it so much. I wish I have all the time in the world to continue writing my anime story. I would love to see the movie or movies of Evangelion. Love more anime. You do not like anime."
My reply was as follows;
I am interested in CLAMP's works. However the leader of CLAMP, Ms Nanase Oukawa inhibits her fans to make CLAMP fan pages,if they use CLAMP's original phrases and images. According to her policy, CLAMP has her official hopepage written in English. I formerly linked my page with a lot of fine foreign fan sites on CLAMP. Thereafter some Japanese authorities have begun to know my page. So I gave up those linkage.
CLAMP consists of four Japanese female cartoonists who lived in Osaka. At first, it consisted of several cartoonists in Osaka. They had written many Doujinshi comic books ten years ago. Thereafter they went to Tokyo to be professional cartoonists. The number of the members was decreased into four cartoonists. Then they drew RG VEDA "Seiden." On the other hand, they made many Doujinshi comics as parodies of famous cartoons, for example, Devil Man. But they gave up making Doujinshi. From that time they inhibit their fans to make their fan pages.
Perhaps they want to keep their copyright.
On the other hand, GAINAX and AIC have personal homepage operating methods. The two companies have their reasonable rules for reference of their original images.
If you make an anime fan page, you must use several original images from original anime and comics. But some creaters are evil. The evil creaters have made anime that Shiori Fujisaki from Tokimeki Memorial would have had sexual intercourse and that Rei Ayanami from EVA would have had sexual intercourse. Konami which create Shiori Fujisaki intends to go to court against such evil creaters. GAINAX also intends to go to court against such evil creaters. Some professional cartoonists want to avoid such creaters' attacks. Therefore they inhibits their fans to make fan pages.
A Japanese student has a famous LUM page wirtten in English. He is a Japanese Elite, who formerly lived abroad. He is very proud. So my Ranma page (of course, in English) was blamed by him. I gave up my Ranma page.
Second, my Slayers page (of course, in English) was blamed by Slayers official fan club in April 1997. I gave up my Slayers page.
So I moved to GEOCITIES USA and started my renewal page in June 1997.
It was my EVA site. I have made efforts for one year to express Japanese pop culture in English.
