This movie is about the A-1 class criminal Kain, and his plans to erase the past of the Jurai that imprisoned him by destroying his target which happens to be Tenchi's mom, Achika. Washu finds out about this and tells Tenchi and the gang that they have to go back in time to save Achika. Washu says that she'll stay here in the present to monitor how things are going. However, there's a catch they only have a limited amount of time to finish the job, or time itself will be changed forever. So they go back in time, and take different jobs around the school to keep a close eye on Achika. But new problems arise, becuase not only does Tenchi have to protect his mom from the criminal Kain, but he also has to make sure that his parents fall in love in the past without Ryoko and Ayeka screwing it up. Eventually, Washu finds the exact time and place where Kain will strike which is aT Tokyo Tower. Washu explains that since Kain is so strong, they will have to use the 5 ancient Jurai statues in the area to stop him from accomplishing his mission. Mihoshi, Kiyone, Ayeka, Sasami, and Ryoko are to plant small machines on each statue, while Tenchi goes to the tower with his mom to activate the trap for Kain. Everything goes well except that Tenchi's mom and dad are sucked into the portal with Kain. Tenchi, Ryoko, and Ayeka go after them while the rest of the gang stays there. Eventually, Kain is knocked out by Tenchi's mom Achika who now has unleashed her Jurain powers. Washu then sends Kiyone the Galaxy Destroyer to finish off Kain while the group gets out of there. After the mission being accomplished, Ryoko takes Tenchi (who is unconcious) back home while Ayeka explains everything about why there were here. Unfortunately, now with time being back to normal, Ayeka has to erase Achika and Nobuyuki's memory about this incident if time is to continue normally forever. Achika then says farewell to them and askes Ayeka and Ryoko to take care of Tenchi for her.
My Review: This movie was pretty good, and the story plot was very interesting. Not a lot of action except in the end, and there is some comedy in the movie. Shows how everyone is doing after the TV series. |
