Episode 17

01) Within the dusky mists, a shadowy figure accompanies a melancholy melody.
02) The next day, the very same music helps Miaka and company out of the bats' harm.
03) The music comes from a boy playing the flute.
04) The boy concentrates more on his music... killing the "villain."
05) Afterwards, the boy finally opens his eyes.
06) The boy slowly walks up to the stunned audience.
07) The trees' shadows slowly fades to reveal a boy of about 15 years old.
08) The boy stops before Miaka, Hotohori, and Tasuki.
09) Miaka and Hotohori rush to the boy's side after he collapses.
11) The boy introduces himself as "Chiriko", one of the Suzaku Shichiseishi.
12) Miaka is overwhelmed with happiness at finding the last Suzaku seven.
13) When it's time to leave the village, Yuiren (Tamahome's youngest sister) won't let go.
14) Yuiren continues to whine for Miaka to stay.
15) Chiriko decides to play a melody on Yuiren.
16) When Yuiren falls unconscious, Tasuki scolds Chiriko for hurting her young mind.
17) Tasuki falls over after Miaka exclaims that Yuiren is only asleep.
18) Chiriko continues to look down at the twitching Tasuki.
19) Chiriko explains how the melody is a lullaby, not the deadly one from the previous night.
20) Chiriko stands awed at the palace's glory while Miaka chats with Chichiri.
21) Tasuki and the gang wonders about Hotohori's whereabouts.
22) Upon learning Hotohori's true identity, Chiriko turns wide-eyed and open-mouthed.
23) At the loyal dinner table, Hotohori-sama asks the gang to relax around his presence.
