Tunan Tukioka A long time friend of Sanosuke, he has a built up grudge against the government that betrayed him and killed his mentor, Soujo Sagara. He lived for many years as an artist, he was however making homemade bombs at the time in plans of getting even with the government. Souzou Sagara Leader of a rebel government group, Sakihora, that was used by the government and then killed off when they felt the group had ended it's usefullness. He was very much a father to both Sanosuke and Tunan but was unfortunately killed by the government as they covered their tracks. Syochyou One of what seems the few good cops, he provides Kenshin and the Gang with the latest info and emergencies. Aritomo Yamagata A very key figure in the Meiji government,Secretary of State, and longtime friend of Kenshin, hHe offered a government job to Kenshin. Hachirou Sasakihei An old samurai that has become a drifter and wishes only to stay low profile in the new Meiji era. Circumstances bring him back into the daily craziness that is this new era in Japan.
