Hey guys!  Well, welcome to my journal.  Sorry.  But there won't be anything really private written on this site (unless you're lucky and I slip).  This site is just for me to keep you guys updated on any changes that I've made on my site.  Occasionally I'll talk about what's going on with me, but hopefully not too much.  So yeah.  Just check on me from time-to-time to see what's going on with my site, okay?  I appreciate it.  And for those of you long-time readers, you'll notice that my entries won't be as "amusing" as when I was putting my personal life into this.  =)  Too bad.  =D  Bon apetite!

Ooh ... a new page!  Woo-hoo!  But that's because that last "Thank You" thing took up a lot of space.  Well, it's worth it.  Those people deserve to be imortalized in big bold (and italicized) letters in my site.  :-)  Speaking of which, I have a new addition:  http://www.bol.ucla.edu/~kenchan.  I haven't worked on it yet, so what you might see is what my apartment-mate, Tim did (no relation to Tiffany's brother Tim).  Also, I have registered a domain name (ken1203.com), but the stupid people at 123ehost.com are giving me a lot of hassle.  So it's not up yet.  But it will be ... one day.  :-\  Okay.  Gotta go now.  Haven't even started Christmas shopping or anything.  Hehe.  Still the King of Procrastination!  Hehe.  And that reminds me, I don't have much time to shop because I'm having lunch with the Queen tomorrow.  Hehe.  Okay.  Better bounce then!  Laterz!

Hm.  What am I still doing up at this time?  Well, I was updating the [BestofUCLA] Birthday Countdown, and I was also scanning pics for my mom, so I decided to post up the picture on the left.  It's the most recent picture of the Chan kids.  And I mean recent.  It was taken with my mom's new polaroid camera about five or six hours ago.  Hehe.  I liked the picture a lot too.  Hm.  Well, I was going to write more here but it's hard because I seemed to have misplaced my glasses.  So I guess I'll just right some other time.  Oh.  And by the way:  Merry Christmas!!! :-)  Hope everyone had a great one!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Woo-hoo!  Another new year.  Beginning my first new year as a newly-reborn Christian, and as a new and hopefully better Kenneth Chan.  I have a lot of hopes for this year and years to come.  I've seriously learned A LOT since going to UCLA.  And not just in the classroom.  I've learned about the value of friendship.  I've learned the grades aren't everything.  I've learned that life is full of choices, and you make them the best you can.  I've learned that you can live yet at the same time not really live.  I've learned that you can't expect others to think they way you do or do things the way you do.  I've learned the you shouldn't criticize others because no ones perfect and that includes yourself.  I've learned that family is very important and should not be taken for granted.  I've learned that nothing should be taken for granted and that everything that God has given to us we should be thankful for never complain about.  I've learned that happiness can come easily if you let it.  I've learned that I suck at Psych.  :-)  I've learned that a person's academic achievements is nothing compared to a person's life achievements.  I've learned that you can't be picky when it comes to girls, or anything for that matter.  I've learned that my parents (and that includes my Heavenly Father) gave up a lot for me, and that I should return to them what they have given to me unconditionally ... LOVE.  I've learned ... I've learned so much ... so very very much.  And I hope to learn more, and grow more.  LIFE IS SO GREAT!  THANK YOU, GOD!!!  Thank you, all!  I'm looking forward to what's to come.  :-D

Dude.  I haven't really updated in so long.  Garsh.  Where to begin?  Argh.  I thought it be easier if I made this site just talk about my site, and not about my life.  But nooo ....  Even just updating my site about my site is hard (did I lose anyone ... hehe).  Okay.  What modifications have I made?  Argh.  Too many. And I'm not sure which ones I've already mentioned.  I think ... er... well, I'll just go over whichever then.  You guys already know about [CUL] ... Also, I changed a couple of the headshots for BestofUCLA Birthday Countdown.  Did I mention Sehee (Genesan's sister) was added?  Well, if I didn't, I am now.  Yeah, she joined us a little while ago.  It's our attempt at replacing Genesan :-D ... haha ... j/k.  I still need to post up a headshot of her though.  Oh!  Something I haven't done yet, but will do as soon I make this update is delete http://www.azntrackstar.com/classes.html and replace it with http://www.azntrackstar.com/classes.  Turns out I don't need to make an index page for that folder.  Geocities already provides one. Cool.  (not sure how many people understood what I just said).  But yeah ... hehe.  Only thing bad with that is that I won't be able to keep track of how many hits there are for that page, but oh well.  It's just an index.  That won't boost my ego.  :-P  Hehe.

Oh.  Naturally, Ken's 2nd Table of Contents will be updated.  Have some new links to other sites, and I have this new journal entry.  New additions will be ... Champions League for Quake, [CUL}Blue_Bomber info page (that just displays my stats for Counter-Strike ... yeah ... I'm nerd ... not that that page should matter anymore because I don't even play the game anymore.  But oh well.); ElektroTal's journal (the site that my old buddy Shivam Bhatt made up.  Haven't had a chance to look at it, but when I have time, I will);  Hear ME out! (Jen Pichay's journal.  I've skimmed over it.  Seems pretty interesting.  What to see what she thinks?   Click the link.); Main Camera Frame (??? Uh ... maybe I won't add this one quite yet.  I can't view the page.  I have no memory of whose this is.  A webcam, maybe?  I dunno.  let me know if you see anything?); and The site formerly known as My dope site (my apartment-mate Tim Kryger's page ... uh ... cool sketch ... otherwise, I haven't seen the rest of it).

Oh!  Major update!  The Personal Page of:  Kenneth Chan has totally been changed.  Since I'm too lazy to update, and plus I need people to actually write stuff about me (which no one seems to do), I figured it'd be cooler if I just posted all the little "Personality Tests" that I take from time-to-time.  The original intent of the page was to let people know who I am without having to do it myself.  And plus, I figured that other's opinions would mean more than my own.  So yeah.  The page still has the same intent, but this time it uses "professional" opinions rather than just opinions of peers (which are few in number anyways).  Let me know what you think of the improvement.  :-)

Oh.  I don't know if I already let you guys know, but the newest member of Ken's Desktop Queens Gallery is (or was) Natashi Yi!  Woo-hoo!  I got to see her at a calendar signing over by Ahhs!  I didn't think she was all that at first, but compared to the other girls,she was by far the cutest.  And then she kind of grew on me.  She's Korean (surprise, surprise), and her body is kick-butt.  Hehe. Not that that matters. Cute face is what's important, right?  Of course.  Hehe.

Um.  Okay.  I think that's all the updates for now.  If not, sorry.  Hopefully you guys will take the time to look through my site on your own.  I've seriously been so busy.  I think this site is not going to last much longer.  Hm ... we'll see.  Hopefully it will.  Oh!  One more thing.  I think I'm going to have a page just full of headshots or something.  I was looking through all of them, and I thought it was cool.  So yeah.  We'll see.  Hehe.  I'll keep yo posted (hopefully)!  Shooots!!!

Okay.  I've spent way too much time here.  Fortunately this only happens once in a blue moon.  But yeah.  I did that headshots thing.  I'm not sure what to do with the page yet though.  It's cool to look at just the headshots though.  Hehe.  We've all grown so much.  Hehe.  Well, since YOU  take the time to read this boring and dull journal, here's one of the perks.  You get to view what I have so far (before everyone else).  I wont' be posting it until I'm finished (assuming I ever finish it).  Hehe.  Here you go.  The UCLA Wall of Fame!  Hehe.   Okay.  Gotta go now.  Still have tons of stuff to do.

Whoa.  I haven't updated this in a very long time, huh?  Um  Well, you guys missed out ont he additons of Hyo Ri, Cristal, and Reiko (the first Japanese to be featured!).  Um.  Okay.  Go and check them out.  Hehe.  And happy birthday to AJ by the way.  And today was also the birthdate of my great-grandfather who passed away when I was really young.  I always love hearing about him from my grandmother and mother.  He was a great guy.  And yesterday marked the 1-year anniversary of the September 11 attacks.  I hope that we'll always remember the lives that were lost and use that date, not as a tragic moment in history, but as reminder of the preciousness of life, and the world that we should strive to change.  Let their deaths not be in vain, but give us a greater need to bring good to this world.  Amen.

Well, sorry guys  I know i haven't updated in a while.  Yeah.  Lire's been pretty busy.  Hope some of you took the time to just glance over my web pages to see what was new.  But anways.  I included a picture on the right of what I look like now.  It's one of my most recent headshots.  As you can tell from the expression on my face, it was a candid shot.  Haha.  Yeah.  So yeah.  Cul.  Okay.  Well, hopefully life wil get less chaotic soon, and I'll be able to update a little more on this web site.  Hopefully.    Okay.  Wish me luck!  :-D.

Well, yay!  I'm finally getting my life back in order.  But actually I have to leave soon, so I'll just make some quick updates.  I think  you guys know that I added a Megaman icon to the front page of Ken's 2nd Web Site.  Also, I changed the running Megaman's into the Megaman mugs (as you can see from above).  You guys already know about Reiko (dang she's cute ... [drools] ... hehe).  There's still a few other pages I'm working on.  The collage of everyone might end up just being a end-of-the-year surprise/celebration page.  We'll see.  I put up the banner that Joel created for the CUL clan.  So yeah.  Just check out [CUL] and you'll see.  I also updated Genesan's profile on there too (although he rushed through it because I woke him up from his 5PM nap.  :-P)  I just started working on Kristy's Page! and Stephanie's Page!.  I'll talk more about them later when I'm near completion.  One cool thing I added was my Ask Ken! page, which is just a page where I make up question that I need to answer using screenshots of my computer desktop.  Hehe.  :-D  I also added a link to my guild at Neopets.com.  It's a new message board I created to post up announcements and links for my little sisters.  It's call 'The True Blues'.  And remind me later I have to post up my CoolQuiz.  Er ... okay.  I should wrap this up.  Have business I need to attend to.  TTYL guys!  I'M BACK!!!  :-D

Hey guys.  Feels good to do a little more clean-up work with my web pages.  But school has started, so I probably won't get to finish up.  Well ... we'll see.  Anyways, the newest updates can be found in the Ask Ken! page where I added another question.  It was an excuse to put up the compiled headshots of everyone.  Hehe. (which reminds me, I need to clean up my room).  Also, for some random reason I decided to update the graphic for Ken's First Web Site.  Even though it's my old site, it's still my first site, so I still have to take care of it.  :-)  Hehe (that reminds me.  I haven't fed my Neopets in a while).  Hehe.  But yeah.  Feel free to look at those.  :-D  Oh.  My CoolQuiz.  I wanted to post that didn't I?  (just remembered by glancing above).  Okay.  For those of you who would like to not go through Ken's 2nd Table of Contents, just go straight to Ken's Very Kewl Kwiz.  :-)  Bon apetite!

Wow.  I'm on an updating frenzy.  Totally updated Ken's 2nd Table of Contents, because I realized there were a lot of things that I said in there that I wouldn't say now (to be ambiguous).  Also, I updated the Birthday Countdown Page, adding pictures for Sehee and Dave.  Also updated pictures for me and Joel while I was at it. Also, I added one more pic to the MP Class of '99 Alumni Page.  It's the one we took at our camping trip the summer before last.  Wow.  I really haven't been updating if it's been that long.  Whoa.  But anyways ... Okay.  I've spent way too much time in front of the computer.  Bye now.  :-D  PS:  Added a headshot for the table of contents too.  Just to include a graphic.  :-)

Hm.  I never did explain as I saide I would, huh?  Yeah, a lots happen since then, which is why I could no longer update this site as diligently as I had.  Thankfully (and surprisingly), the website is still up - though Ken's First Web Site was taken down.  I'm in the process of recovering it, but just can't remember my password or the answer to my hint question - which I do remember writing, but don't recall answering.  Anywho ... since my last entry, another website that copied what I did here was created. It's call Facebook.  It pretty much did what I had done - just made it easier for others instead of having it be done manually as I am now.  You can write notes.  And it also informs you what the user has done and what they've updated - without the user having to report it.  You can upload pictures, allow comments to be made (so Guestbooks are no longer needed). Yeah ... whoever the Facebook creator is was obviously a visitor to Ken's First Web Site or Ken's 2nd Web Site (of course ... =) hehe).  But seriously though, Facebook is everything I had wanted to create - or maybe not everything.  I'm sure if I gave it more thought and developed this site more, there'd be even more functions. But yeah.  Good job Facebook folks.  You became famous by capitalizing on the idea ... whil I remain mostly unknown because I just did this for fun and because I couldn't really think about what to my website other than post my ramblings and my photos.  =P  BTW:  As you'll notice, many pictures that have me in them were removed.  I'm responsible for that.  It's so that I don't get tied to what I had written and said in here (even though they're not so bad).   Kind of like when someone runs for president, or even as a Supreme Court judge, their past gets scrutinized. So yeah ... just in case, I decided to remove them. So if you know/knew me,  you know what I look like. Even after all these years, I pretty much look the same.  But I digress (as usual).  I came in here to put an official end to My Journal, instead of leaving it hanging as I did for the past 6 years.  And for those who still check on this web site now and then, hopefully you've found me on Facebook - where I will continue my ramblings from time to time. And since I don't have to update Facebook manually as I did here, I'm saving a whole lot of time.  So yeah ... while this chapter has ended, another has begun.  So join me there!  I look forward to sharing the past 6 years with  you!  See you again soon!
