Who can participate?
Any "Swimming" style dragon - ie one who has flippers, fins, webs or is designed to live in water at least part of the time. They can fly, but they must be able to swim due to improved webbing or the like.
Dragons do not have to have a bonded person with them.
Dragons can be from ANY location or site, Pern, Alskyr, Glenn, Danach, etc ad infinitum. If it's got flippers, it's in.
Who cannot participate?
Images which are from "click and take" operations - in other words, if you didn't create the image from scratch for your own use, have it made FOR you, given TO you from another creator (legally), or adopt it via normal means, they can't participate. Images from art sites do not qualify.
How many entries can one person send?
I want to limit the number of participants to THREE of EACH GENDER.
How many participants will there be?
I will cut off entries at 20 each gender.
How many eggs will we expect?
Depending on how many final participants, at least 2 eggs from each female. There may be extra non-bonded dragons left over, who will remain in the Healing Den for future use.
How do I sign up?
Please give me your typical information - include "Swim" in your subject line please, your id/email, the dragon's name, exact working url, their origin if known, gender, color/rank etc, any powers they might have, and if there is a specific mate you'd like them to have. Their bond if they have one, their gender and other information, include gender or partner bias if there is one.
When will the Swim occur?
Probably around Junish. It's a summer swim, so presumably by summer. No official date. "After" other hatchings and flights have occurred.
Who is participating?
Check the list often. There are bound to be changes over the course of the next two months. If you're sending multiple entries, I wouldn't mind seeing them all on one page so they're that much easier to locate on the internet.
