The Barnesville Police Department is located in the heart of downtown Barnesville. We serve a community of approximately 2400 people.
Barnesville is just 23 miles from the Fargo-Moorhead area to the West and just 20 minutes from the lakes to the South and East.
Our department is made up of a Chief of Police, 3 Full-time Patrol Officers,1 Full-Time School Resource Officer, 1 Part-time Patrol Officer, 1 Part-Time Animal Control Officer and 8 Reserve Officers. We have an active D.A.R.E. Program, Project Kid Print, Safe and Sober, Crime Watch and Residential Watch.
