DRACO MALFOY

Draco Malfoy has loathed Harry Potter since their first train ride to Hogwarts, and the feelings are quite mutual. Draco is a spoiled little brat who is jealous of Harry’s fame, and is constantly worried that he’s never going to live up to his daddy’s expectations.
Draco, along with his cronies Crabbe and Goyle, is constantly badgering Harry, Ron, and Hermione. As mentioned above, he is jealous of Harry’s fame and Quidditch skills, and he’s possibly jealous of Ron and Hermione’s possible budding romance. I believe that Draco constantly struggles with his attraction to Hermione Granger, and his father’s hatred of Muggles and Muggle- Borns.
Draco’s father is Lucius Malfoy, a very rich, prominent member of the wizarding community. After the downfall of You-Know- Who, Lucius claimed that he had been under the Imperius Curse, and that he was not really a follower of You-Know-Who’s. Draco, it seems, has inherited his father’s vindictive spirit. When Harry plays a part in getting his father thrown in Azkaban at the end of book five, Draco informs Harry once again that he has picked the losing side in this war. Draco’s words are usually idiotic and pompous, however this time, they give me chills...
“You’re dead, Potter.”

Okay,you've read our notes, hopefully- *hint-hint* so here is our analysis of Draco's character.
Draco Malfoy, our "kind" and "loving" "friend" may have one of the best characters. Sure he has to be evil all the time, but hey! Someone has to do it. Tessa and I have concluded several different things about our buddy Draco.

To start out with, Draco isn't all bad. For one thing, we believe that he is beaten because he has a bloody arse father. We all know Lucius is a Death Eater. Tessa and I have assumed that the Malfoy family has been Death Eaters for centuries. They are forcing Draco to become one. The problem is- he doesn't want to be. Hence the coldness in his heart and cruelty in his eyes. As you know, Tess and I have discovered his secret.
We were talking (actually passing notes) about Draco's true character. Tess said Draco was a softie, I went into denial, but now we both agree that Draco really is a softie. Here's why.
For one thing, take a look at his friends. He only has two. Only two friends, who could be forced to do it. Or is it dumb enough?
So one reason that Draco is a softie is his emotional issues. We all know that not being popular can really bash the self esteem, and that is Draco's problem. One thing that could be fueling his cruelty is Harry's popularity. Perhaps deep down inside, Draco wishes he was "the boy who lived." (But hell, don't we all. Ah, the fame...) However, these are all assumptions, so we will never know.
Another classic rumor/assumption is the Death Eater one. As stated above, we all know that Lucius is a Death Eater. If the whole Malfoy family are Death Eaters, than obviously they are gonna want Draco to be one. Tess and I have assumed that Draco has been refusing to attend Death Eater meetings, or whatever their lovely get-togethers are called, and this enrages Lucius. Thus the beatings.
Now we're sure you've got questions about the whole Barbie thing. *sniggers* This was purely Tessa, I had no part of it. She was trying to defend her whole soft side thing, made that comment, and the gang talked about it for weeks. (Note from Tessa- When I wrote it, I was joking! I didn't actually mean it, I was just trying to prove my point! I like Draco~ bad boys are great! tehehe)
