Say hello to Harry Potter: the bear...*

Beyond the Books' Mascot

Muaha! I wonder how many of you originally thought this was a link to Dan Radcliffe. *sniggers* That's why I added that little "our mascot" tag. Because everyone knows that Dan Rad wouldn't be our mascot. Hahaha.

So, the story behind Harry. Well, the TMC was wander around the mall on the 31st of July, 2003, and decided, why, since we're going past Build-A-Bear, why not make one, call it Harry Potter, and pass him around the members of the council? So bang! It happened. Harry has a little journal, that we help him write in faithfully, which should soon be up on the site.

Now, the following pictures are the only pictures we have of Harry at the moment. They were taken at a party Tess had back in Aug. 03. You see Gwen in them a lot (I think she's got a crush. hehe) However, as time goes by, maybe you'll see more of him as more pictures of the Council come up.

Harry is available for book discussions, opinions on the movie, or suggestions for the site. You can email him at harrybear03@beyondthebooks.zzn.com

And here are the pictures. Click the picture for an larger one.

*...Disclaimer: We, the Mighty Council, are in no way related to Harry Potter. Meaning that Tessa, Charity and the gang are not cousins of Harry. Ok, only joking. *waves to JKRowling's lawyers* We swear we didn't steal her material... *cowers and protects copy of OotP* we really are in no way connected to Scholastic, Warner Brothers, Random House, Bloomsbury... blah, blah, blah. Anyone on here has probably read one of these before so you know what we're talking about. *laughs evilly* We're only teenagers, so DON'T sue us! Thanks much. =)...*
