Brains, "Beauty" and a thing for Ron...*

Hermione Granger

by Tessa

Imagine this: You are content growing up the class geek. You have no knowledge of anywhere outside the world of your books. But you don't mind it. So one day, you get a letter. With an owl carrying it.

Before you know it, you're wisked off to a school where everything is possible and everything from your dreams is coming true. Except you're still "the geek".

You meet a guy you've read about in your books you've bought in a Wizard Shop. Harry Potter. Eventually he and his friend Ron (who IS kinda cute...) save you from a mountian troll. You become best friends. That bond is stronger than ever until Harry comes out of the maze at the Tri-Wizard tournament holding the body of your classmate. You believe Harry, you really do - but something funny's going on. You don't know what to think.

But Harry's your best friend. He's telling the truth. It's just hard to believe, that's all.

Alright. The point of this is simply to point out how torn Hermione has to be. She wants to be loyal to Ron and Harry but also wants to form her own opinions. How can she do this with Harry being like he was in OotP. ....to be continued....

Ok, only joking. *waves to JKRowling's lawyers* We swear we didn't steal her material... *cowers and protects copy of OotP* we really are in no way connected to Scholastic, Warner Brothers, Random House, Bloomsbury... blah, blah, blah. Anyone on here has probably read one of these before so you know what we're talking about. *laughs evilly* We're only teenagers, so DON'T sue us! Thanks much. =)...*
