MINERVA MCGONAGALL
Professor Minerva McGonagall teaches Transfiguration at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and has done so for many years. She is a close friend of Headmaster Albus Dumbledore’s, and is also an active member of the Order of the Phoenix. She is a strict and gifted teacher, Harry’s immediate thoughts upon meeting her were that she was not someone to get on the wrong side of. Because of her close relationship with Albus Dumbledore, and Order of the Phoenix membership, Minerva is often caught up in the warfare that has and is now engulfing the wizarding world. She, along with Dumbledore himself and Hagrid, helped deliver baby Harry to his aund and uncles place of residence after Voldemort murdered his parents, that night so many years ago.
