Waxing philosophical, waning intellectual
When is Braintree live next?
- Who knows? I don't.

Lyrics...

  [ byob ]

Towers fall and fingers point away
This neoGOP regime machine
Has hi-jacked all our hopes and dreams

PRE-CHORUS:
Time to party in Iraq
And harvest fear at home
Take the world shot-for-shot

CHORUS:
Come and get it on
Lock and load, it's on tonight
Bring your own bodybags
Bombed and tanked,
Let's get this party started right

Family barbecues will never be the same
For we will rock Iraq to dust
With Haliburton warfare lust

Hail to the thief
And his oil-hungry warlords

PRE-CHROUS
CHORUS

Before my friends become gold stars
Hanging neatly in the front window
We'll tear you down with all we have
And all we have is begging us to...

CHORUS x2

The story...

"I've been waiting for this song ever since Ass Prison was in the can and we had 'Freak of Nature' to blast in our car stereos. I knew I had a much better catchy and heavy "first single" in me, and this is definitely along those lines. In fact when I had that main riff, the rest of the song wrote itself on guitar in about five minutes. It took a bit longer on the melodies because I really wanted it to kick ass instead of just sounding cool, and I think what I finally ended up with sucks, but at least it's a good time. The lyrics are obviously political, but I tried to dress it up a bit so you can at least pretend like it's a party song. I have fond memories of screaming this one out at the top of my lungs."
