I got pulled over by a cop today!!! So me and my sister went back to the bar with the really hot bouncer, and as usual I had almost nothing to drink. Besides, I was the designated driver. Anyhoo, so the bar was okay... my man the bouncer wasn't there... but while I was driving home at around 2am, I noticed there was this car right up behind me, tailgaiting me. So I pulled over to the right lane to let him pass, but he didn't pass me. I slowed down to 35 and he still wouldn't pass me, then i sped up to 50, and he kept right up with me. I was like oh crap some freaks from the bar must be following me. Rachel was like "it s a cop! its a cop!" But I was convinced there was no way that was a cop. Then we stopped at a red light, they pulled up beside me, and yes!! It was a cop!! I was sooo happy! :) Ya, I really really love cops :) I was like "woohoo! A cop is finally following me!". No cop has ever pulled me over, it really sucks. I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong, I hadn't been drinking, was only speeding a tiny bit before I realized a cop was behind me, and I had my liscence and registration and everything, so I was just pretty much very happy that a cop was interested in me. So there was this tow truck behind me, towing a car with its lights on, and there was another car in front of him, that we thought was another cop. Rachel all of a sudden starts freaking out, saying the cop is pulling me over. I thought he hadn't turned on his lights yet, but rachel was so insistent that I thought maybe I just didn't see them somehow, so I pulled into a parking lot, and they all drove on. Of course, they weren't pulling me over, she was just looking at the tow truck lights. I was sad that I had lost my cop buddies, but happy about the whole experience anyway. So I turned around, and got back on the highway. Then I was so happy when I saw them waiting for me at the next interesection! They had their lights off and everything. I drove by them, and they turned their headlights back on and followed us. Then they flashed the blue and reds, and pulled me over! :) I popped out my liscence and rachel got the registration ready by the time they came to the door. When he came over, I was like "Hey! Whats up!" and I was very happy and he was very nice. Kinda old, like in his thirties or fourties, but he's a cop so I loved him anyway. He asked us where we were coming from, and brilliant, oh-so-intoxicated rachel answered that we were coming from media, when actually we were driving TO media. She was like "no, no, we came FROM media to the bar, and now we're going back TO media" she was just rambling on and not making any sense. The cop thought she was a little strange. He asked whos car this was, and why I pulled into the parking lot. Rachel blurted out that we thought some people from the bar were following us or something stupid like that, and I went along with it for some reason. He had a partner too, he was shining his flashlight into the car to check out if we had anything incriminating in plain view. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see if he was cheese or not. So he said there was something wrong with the registration card, that the plate number was off by one number, but he quickly said it was probably a clerical error and not our fault. But rachel freaked out anyway, and started handing me everything she could find in the glove compartment, including a book of some kind. It was pretty funny. :) The cop was really nice about it, and said to just get it fixed and gave us a warning ticket. I thanked him for pulling us over, and once we found the keys (which rachel was sitting on), we were on our way. The only thing bad about the situation is that the cop had one of those annoying chin-strap hats on. I like the other kind of hats, the ones kinda more like a baseball cap, but not really. But I think his partner had that kind of hat on :) anyhoo, so that was my awesome time with a real cop!! I love cops :) I think I'll go see if the show is on now :) |
