Summary:
Debut: Set in the century before the era of Star Trek Original Series, this is a prequel which documents the adventures of Earth's first warp-driven starship. It is commanded by a willful Captain Jonathon Archer and features a brief scene with the creator of the warp drive Zephrem Cochran. The initial mission of the Enterprise is to return a Klingon to his home planet, a mission their Vulcan allies are against. On the way their wounded guest is kidnapped by the Suliban and must be returned to the Enterprise.
