Chakotay, deems this "unacceptable", the shaky alliance is dissolved but not before the deceitful Borg succeed in taking the ship to the domain of Species 8-4-7-2 for a final showdown. Janeway foils an attempt to connect a neuro-transceiver to her and a representive talks verbally to her.

I The crew of Voyager find themselves in a battle to the death on the holodeck when Hirogens take over the ship and subject them to a WWII simulation in which the crew are French Resistance fighters and the Hirogens are Nazis. 7 of 9 sings two songs portraying a French cabaret singer.
     In part II broadcasted on the same night, conclusion, with the neural implants removed and their identities returned. Janeway and 7 attempt to restore the rest of the crew's indentities and stop the Hirogens' WWII simulation which has spilled out from the Holodeck into the ship.
