These are the voyages
of the Star Ship Voyager who has been wrenched from the Alpha Quadrant and
brought to the Delta Quadrant, 70,000 light years away. They are attempting
to return home (a journey of 70 years at warp speed but have to journey
through a space in which they are very much alone, attempting to find
supplies to help them in their trip. I am starting to share my database of

Summary: The fifth season opener finds the crew and ship journeying through a star-less, inky black emptiness. 53 days into the 2 year trip through this section, the crew is on edge, Janeway has retreated into her cabin, avoiding the crew and regretting her decision to enter this part of space. Suddenly, the ship stops and the lights go out. Strange aliens begin appearing thoughout the ship, involving the crew in a clash between two alien races. One race is dumping their toxic waste into the sector, slowly killing all its inhabitants.
