Ehrhardt's Return

HSFL hall of famer Jake Ehrhardt made his return to the field for week 8.  Ehrhardt suffered a concussion in week 3 after hitting his head on the knee of Jeff Renn.  It was unknown whether or not Ehrhardt would ever be able to make a return on the field.  Team 2 co-captain Mike Arana contacted Ehrhardt a short time before the game asking Jake if he would be interested in playing in the game.  Jake, like the die hard player he is, showed up less than a half an hour later ready to play.  When asked if he was fully recovered from his most recent in a series of concussion, Ehrhardt said:  "I never really recover from them".  Ehrhardt looked good in his return, showing signs of being the defensive presence he was in the earlier years of his career.  Ehrhardt even contributed on offense in week 8, running for a touchdown and throwing for another.  Ehrhardt added yet another power running back to the Team 2 attack, and punished defenders when he carried the ball.  It is unknown when, or if, Ehrhardt will play his next HSFL game.
