The Conspiracy and Other "Imaginative" Theories The Complete List of Evil Things What I'm Listening to at the Moment
|
Links [For Lack of a Better Name] Here's a list of sites that I either think are cool and worth a look, site's dedicated to bands I like, ones I visit often, or are one of my friend's sites that they told me to link to. Most of my friend's sites haven't got much up on them but hey, I promised them that I'd add them! If you wanted your site added here just let me know. Cool Sites If you have loads of spare time on your hands, then why not go and visit some of these cool site's I've found on the web? All Your Base Are Belong to Us - if you haven't seen this, then where have you been? This is the official site of the famous film, and has loads of extras as well as the film, such as history and where the idea came from in the first place. You can also download the song on mp3! Attack of the Killer Penguins II - a really cool Java game where you have to shoot evil penguins! It's like Space Invaders, except there's penguins that drop down instead of little aliens, and the last level has a huge penguin that's hatching evil penguin eggs that you have to shoot instead. It's great fun but can be a little frustrating, though the new version has improved graphics and controls too. Bubble Wrap - everyone loves bubble wrap, so go here and pop away to your hearts content on this Java applet. It kept me amused for hours! DataWhere House - this has just got loads of cool things on it, like tests, jokes, stories, and other useless information for you to read if you've got a load of time on your hands. Evil Penguins - penguins are taking up the world and here is the evidence to prove it! This is where the conspiracy begins! Feed the Pig - this is a great Java game where you have to feed the pig (obviously) and make it as fat as you can before it explodes! You get different points depending on what you feed it, and certain stuff make it more likely to explode. Firing Squad - this is a huge game's site, which will take you hours to get through, but it has the best reviews (even though they're several pages long!) and loads of info on other computer stuff like hardware. Fluble Comic Strip - follow the adventures of Fluble and friends as he battles against evil penguins, the They, and many more, as well as his own insanity. Habbo Hotel - a really cool Shockwave Java chatroom set in a hotel, where you pick a "habbo" (or character) and walk around chatting to people like in an online RPG. You can get rooms for free but only problem is you have to pay for things in it, like diving and objects!! Other than that it's pretty fun. Jumping Ducks - this is a Java game that my friend Steve (RockthesmurF) gave me the link to. It's pretty cool, you have to move the plank along the bottom to help the ducks jump into the pipe at the other end. It's pretty hard though because they speed up pretty quick and you can have 3 ducks at once all going at different speeds so it gets confusing. Misanthropic Bitch - although she gets a lot of hate mail from people who don't agree with her ideas, I think this is a great place to read someone's honest opinions on things and that she does have some good points in some of the things she says. Muffin Films - this site is just a load of films about muffins, but I just think they're really funny and they make me laugh. Worth a look if you've got time! Penguin Chat - another Java site, except on this one you walk around different areas of the North Pole as a penguin! It's pretty fun though it's usually empty, but the point is - you can be a penguin! Heh heh. Rampaging Penguins - it's a simple penguin game, where you have a horde of rampaging penguins and have to feed them different countries. It's fun the first few times but after that it does get a little boring. See how long you can look after your penguins! Sheep Cull - this is a great Java game where you have to shoot the sheep! It's a great stress reliever and is great fun, but can get a little frustrating. Shoot the sheep - you know you want to! Shoutcast Radio - owners of Winamp (which should be pretty much the entire world by now!) can use this cool site to find, make and listen to Winamp radio stations on the web! The Pot Noodle Home - although this is the home page for Pot Noodle, it's really cool and makes it sound like some sort of oppressive cult (what, you mean it isn't?!) The Spark - if you've never heard of this site then where have you been?! It's got loads of fun tests to take and to compare yourself against your friends, as well as funny experiments he's done too. There's also Spark Notes which are good if you need help with homework. Vegetable Rights - this site just makes me laugh, it's all about saving vegetables from the harm imposed on them by cruel farmers and heartless chefs. Where to get "Stuff" For those of you that actually have money worth spending, then give these sites a look. Attitude Clothing Co - this is just a general alternative clothing store on the net that I found, it's pretty reliable 'cos I've bought some stuff from here. They've got traditional medieval looking gothic clothes, loads of jeans and t-shirts, pendants, shoes, everything really. They recently updated their site so it's got loads of new stuff up. Big Worms - another shop in the town, I haven't really been in it but it's more of a skater shop than PunkAss. It used to be in a small shack in a dark alleyway but since has been promoted to a shop opposite Tescos. Last time I went here, they were still updating the site and adding stuff. Kope's Great Gifts and Gadgets - this site has loads of cool... well... gifts and gadgets! Buy anything, from swords to spy glasses to panic buttons. The only problem with this site is that everything on it costs money but hey, if you have the cash to buy something then go here! PunkAss UK - this is a shop in the town which is a second home to most of my mates, and amazingly the manager Steve hasn't got fed up with us all yet and told us to buy something or get out (which is pretty darn cool of him) so go visit, show your support, and buy, or you will leave hundreds of innocent llamas homeless. Honest. Friend's Sites The people I call my friends asked me to link to them so here I am. Aren't I a nice friend? Dan's Alien Site - if you loved the Alien trilogy then this is a good place to visit, Dan's spent loads of time adding all the Alien facts you could wish for (as well as some other cool stuff) Dunno what's going on with this site now, last time I went there it was just a big photo of Dan? E2's Home - E2 (or Ecliptic Entertainment) is a programming team that some of my mates are in. They're all really talented, so the work they make together should be pretty good! Since they're all young people who love games they know what people love, so it should be interesting to see what they've got in the works! The site's been worked on a lot too, and has everything you'd wanna know about them on it. Ice Dragon's Lair - this is Stephen's (or Ice Dragon's) site that he made one day when he was bored. There's not much here and he hasn't done anything to it since February (but he's planning on updating it soon) but it's got lot's of pictures of dragons (funnily enough), some funny pictures and the Dragon Dance! (instead of Hamster Dance) James's Page - well, there isn't actually anything really here except for a load of links, but don't ask me why the (dead) "My Pictures" link leads to "clairespics.html"! He hasn't updated it in months and I don't think he's planning on doing so anytime soon but hey. Enjoy. Katie's Hail the Fish Site - this site is going to be a sheet music site once she's done it, but right now there's nothing really here except a bit about herself and some pieces of sheet music for you to enjoy, but it's worth a visit anyway (if you can ignore all the typos) Music Sites I've found loads of really cool sites dedicated to music and various bands I like, which you can all find here. Econoline Crush Official Page - for an official page, it's pretty cool. There's a message boards for fans to chat, and it gets updated regularly. The only bad thing is the store, which doesn't have ordering online yet (though it's been saying "coming soon" for months now!) Garbage Official Home Page - also another good official home page, which has a fan message board and loads of studio diaries written by Shirley herself while recording the upcoming album, Beautifulgarbage. Audiogalaxy - this is a great place to get loads of mp3's for free (although I'm not sure I should be posting this link here!) It can be dodgy sometimes and they've started to block songs, but you can find them if you change the spelling of the band name, but other than that it's great. Friend's Bands Sites All of a sudden I've realised that most of my friends are now either in or have been in a band, so here's the links to the sites of the one's that have managed to stay together for over a month and not get sick of the sound of each other's voices and manage to sound pretty cool while doing it. AnarChaos - okay I've plugged them all over my site so I couldn't not put them on the links page as well! This is the site Gazza made, which keeps you updated with all the band developments. Blind Change - this is a cool Ska band that my friend Holly and some other people made up together, and before the older members left they 0wned our school! (heh heh) |
