The challenge...
Then came the time to separate - literally.
"Caths transferred from DLSU-Manila to the College of Saint Benilde," Ganns says, "and I wasn't so happy with the idea.  I mean, sure, she was happy, but the distance would make things so much more difficult for us to meet and be with each other."
The counter-offer...
Then Helen (Ganns' boss) received a resume that he had sent to her father a year earlier [d
oes it really take that long to process resumes in CSB?!].  She informed him that she was interested in hiring him as an Assistant for Communications.
It took Ganns all of a few days to decide.  Eventually, he decided to take the jump.  Ganns and Caths were reunited at work.  It was almost destined.
More coincidences...
Ganns and Caths work on top of each other [
not literally, folks, down, kids].  At DLSU, Ganns' department, the English Languages Department, was a floor below Caths' Psychology employers.  At CSB, Caths' Testing, Research and Evaluation Office (TREO) is a floor above the College Communication Office, where Ganns is currently Officer-in-Charge.
Ganns designed a brochure for the TREO back when it was known as the Center for Educational Evaluation and Research or CEER.  He used the number 3.  A year later, they were renamed to TREO, which sounds remarkably like TRIO, or three (3).  Ganns and Caths go on their third year anniversary the year that CEER renamed to TREO.
The years pass by...
