The first years...
For the first year of their relationship, as with most, it was expected that Caths and Ganns would be the so-called honeymoon stage. The fact that both worked in the same place, just a floor apart, made things quite easy to handle.
During that time, Caths gave Ganns one of his most treasured gifts: a scrapbook that detailed some of the more memorable events of their life together. He, in turn, spent time planning a surprise picnic, knitting her a throw rug, and writing poetry about her.
Cathy was eventually "pirated" by the College of Saint Benilde's Center for Educational Evaluation and Research (CEER), and Ganns followed soon afterward, working as assistant for communications at the College Communication Office (CCO). And there they happily co-existed, once again with Cathy's office one floor higher than Ganns' in yet another amusing synchronicity.
The separation...
For four months of insanity, Ganns left CSB for www.MyPhilippines.com. It was difficult, for both he and Caths were unused to long periods of time without each other. It was good money, but Ganns eventually left because of extreme discontent with the work.
After a turbulent four months, Ganns returned to CSB with the realization that a long distance relationship was not ging work, at least not for them.
The years pass by...
Now the two are together again, at CSB. They see each other everyday, plus weekends. Hopefully, in a few years, they'll hopefully end up walking down the aisle and enjoying each other's company for the rest of their lives.
