NEWS: About 12 planes now have a Gavtronics Super Switch doing the Switching!
An introduction to the Gavtronics Super Switch:
The switch features full electronic switching so that the mechanical switch is redundant – the current will flow even with the entire switch removed!
What does this mean? Should the mechanical part of the switch fail or be damaged, the receiver and servos will still continue to operate.
It is lightweight (8-12 grams) and compact (PCB = 30mm x 15mm) – a consideration for pylon racing, gliding or soaring.
Its low price compares favourably with the more old-fashioned and less reliable switches on the market.
The switch can be customised for your requirements – add a charge lead for minimal cost. The switch comes without a charge lead on purpose. The need to pull the connector apart to charge means the contacts are kept clean. For those who want to charge their batteries through the switch a separate charge lead becomes necessary.
Available in 2 Versions:
Super Switch $20 HITEC/JR Connectors (No Charge
Lead)
Super Switch $25 HITEC/JR Connectors (With Charge
Lead)
