My wife was in the kitchen. I
was in the den reading Ephesians chapter two and the reality of the contrast
of my life before and after learning God's Word hit me. I called out toward
the kitchen and said "honey, don't you just love the life we're living!'
When I heard those wards come out of my mouth I knew it was a song. The
rest of the lyrics come quiddy. Ephesians chapter two provided the total
inspiration.
Some have called this song a true
Christian anthem. Others say, "you wrote that (one) song, didn't you?'
I have received letters describing deliverance – both great and small–
physically, mentally and spiritually–which
people have experi- enced while listening to this song. lt is a great example
of the real and living power of God's Word (put to music).
