The closing comments on the last
night of the Family Camp Lynn and I attended last July in California included
the phrase, "when God makes everything rigbt." Bells went off in my head
and heart. What a mind picture. What a song title and theme. The next day,
I wrote these lyrics and the framework for must of the melody.
But the song literally incubated
for the next 10 months. At the Fanuly Advance in Nashville Tennessee in
June 2001, I performed it for the first time and received an unforgettable
cornpliment. A certain believer told me with tears streaming down her cheeks,
how this song just took her there–to The Gathering Together–she could see
it–she was there. Wow!
We very intentionally ended this
CD with this song for obvious reasons.
