Skyline: The light at the top of the Space Needle flashes.Plot: Frasier is giving Niles a lift into town and is entering a parking garage when he realises he is late for his show. He goes to the exit, where to his fury he is charged $2 because he bought a ticket upon entering. The car park charges this $2 if you are inside it any time from 1 second to 20 minutes. Frasier's pleas that he didn't actually park are ignored, so he decides that if he has to pay, then he will stay there for the full 20 minutes. Frasier refuses to budge, even when George, the attendant, offers to let him out without paying. Frasier sees it as a battle he is fighting for the angry motorists trapped behind him in the queue. Eventually Niles manages to convince Frasier that sometimes he is being too stubborn and forces everyone to agree with him. Frasier decides to leave before the 20 minutes are up, but when he gives a long speech to George it causes the meter to go over 20 minutes - and the price is now $4... At KACL, Kenny asks Roz to fill in for Frasier, and she takes some calls, but accidentally gives away the fact she slept with Frasier. When Frasier arrives, he hears that his exploits have been revealed over the radio - trouble is, he thinks they were talking about him at the car park, not about him and Roz... Meanwhile Daphne is moving the last of her things out of Frasier's apartment, but Eddie is acting strangely. He doesn't want Daphne to go. Is it because he'll miss her - or because his ball is in her bag and he wants it back? Subtitles: The Terrier Puzzles. Trivia: Daphne finally moves into the Montana, and her room at Frasier's is to be turned into a "reading sanctuary". A big Eddie scene in this episode, and we also find out Martin is really missing Daphne and using Eddie missing her as an excuse. Kenny, the callers and most of Seattle find out Frasier slept with Roz... :-) We learn Niles and Daphne have bought a pair of lovebirds and named them...Niles and Daphne. Oh, and George works for Kirkland's Parking. Now look at the writer of this episode... :-) |
