Skyline: Lights go on in the skyscrapers.

Plot: Frasier and Niles are throwing a party and have gone to get the food. They go to Robert's, where to their horror they find caviar is $100 per ounce. A Russian fisherman, Petyr, says that the Russian Mafia have taken control of the caviar market but he can get them some for just $40 per ounce. The brothers accept the deal.

The party is (for once!) a success and everyone likes the caviar. The guests ask where they can get some and Frasier and Niles find themselves buying caviar for their friends in return for luxuries such as visiting the Governor's mansion or borrowing villas or opera boxes. The brothers find they need to get some more, but Petyr tells them he is no longer dealing caviar as he feels the Russian Mafia are on to him. The Cranes desperately need some more to keep their friends, and Roz who has become hooked on it, happy. They go to Petyr's ship to find him and get some caviar, but US Customs are nearby...

Meanwhile Martin is given $40 more than he should have at the ATM by mistake. Daphne makes him return it, but the bank thinks they owe him $40. Martin goes from manager to manager trying to sort things out.

Subtitles: They Call Him Vlad The Importer.

Trivia: Francois Giroday reprises his role as Robert from Ep 112 "The Perfect Guy", and we also see his shop again as well. Michael Winters also played a security guard in the Cheers episode "The Last Picture Show". Daphne tells the story of her brother Nigel, who used to punch people's teeth out so he could get rich from the tooth fairy... Oh, and Frasier finally acknowledges that his parties are not normally successful ("Normally something has caught fire by now!"). :-)
