Skyline: The light at the top of the Space Needle flashes.

Plot: Three stories in Seattle this week. In the first, Frasier's co-workers have signed him up to help with building a house for the Habitat For Humanity scheme. Frasier hasn't done that much building wise - his jobs included Carpenter's helper, painter's assistant's helper and plaster watcher! - but he offers to help the Grant family decorate their new house. Things go well at first, but then Frasier starts taking over and he is shown the door. Roz gets him to apologise to them, and off they go - to find the Grants have chosen a really awful decor!

Martin and Eddie are going to do a safety lecture for the 2nd grade at Glenn Brook Elementary, and Eddie has been learning some new tricks. They are a big hit and the principal asks them to come back to see the 4th graders. However Martin is ill on the day and Niles has to fill in for him. When Eddie won't do what Niles says, Niles changes the lecture into one on hygiene - by telling the kids things such as how many insect hairs can be found in a chocolate bar. He too, is a big hit, much to the horror of the principal...

Daphne and Gertrude have an argument, and Daphne accuses her mother of not contributing enough to the household. Gertrude goes and gets herself a job at Cafe Nervosa, hoping to embarrass Daphne enough that Daphne will ask her to quit, but her plan backfires when Daphne is thrilled when her mother's paycheque arrives.

Subtitles: Everybody's Gonna Feng Shui Tonight; Blood Is Thicker Than Latte.

Martin knows..... Officer Chirpy and Sgt Bob, a policeman and his parrot who did safety talks to schools. Martin then says however that "Dick Chirpy was one of the finest officers" he ever served with. :-)

Trivia: Although he doesn't say anything, James Oliver is back as the Waiter and we discover that the waiter's name is..... James. Gertrude Moon returns, and this is also the second episode in a row where Daphne arrives to do Martin's exercises. Eddie does some tricks in this episode for the first time in ages - Martin asks him what to do when he crosses the street, and Eddie looks both ways. Martin asks what you do when a stranger approaches, and Eddie barks and runs to Daphne - like the children should yell and run to someone they trust. And finally Martin asks what should you so if you catch fire - and Eddie rolls over! Oh, and there's an indirect mention of Joanna Doyle as well.
