FAMILY: Billie's Dad died of cancer when he was 10 years old (September 1982). His mother then raised Billie and his 5 older siblings there after. He married his longtime girlfriend Adrienne (Nesser) on July 2, 1994, and now has 2 sons to her. WHEELS: A Ford Fairlane/and or A 1967 Ford Mustang, a black BMW convertible. He has also played with The Influents, Corrupted Morals, Rancid, the Lookouts, Goodbye Harry, and Blatz. Billie's Story: Billie Joe Armstrong was born on Feburary 17th 1972 in Rodeo California. He was the youngest of 6 children in a working-class family. There have always been rumours circulating about Billie's birh name. Some people believe he was born, William Joseph. However that is far from true, his mother was from Southern Oklahoma hence naming him Billie Joe. His mother was a waitress and a very big country western music fan. She worked at a local restaurant called Rod's Hickory Pit, Billie Joe and Mike later worked there as busboys. Billie began singing at the young age of 5, he would sing to patients at hospitals to cheer them up. His first record was entitled "Looking for Love", he was able to record it with a local company called Flat Records. His father was a jazz musician and truck driver. He gave Billie his first elictric guitar, the infamous "Blue". Billie continues to use it to this day and has a few replicas of it. It would be the last present he would recieve from his father who passed away when Billie was ten. Billie wrote his first song, "Why Do You Want Him", when he was 14. Billie Joe is the co-founder and partial owner of the independant label Adeline Records. Billie met his future wife, Adrienne Nesser in Minneapolis in 1990. They dated for 4 years until finally getting hitched on July 2nd 1994. The ceremony only lasted 5 minutes. Their first son Joseph Marcicano Armstrong, was born in March of 1995. Three years later on September 12, 1998, their second child, Jakob Danger was born. Billie, Adrienne, Joseph, and Jakob reside in Berkeley, California.
