ASHLEY'S CORNER Hola todos!!(Hi to all!) My name is Ashley and I love Jesus with all of my heart! I am 17 years old now and just graduated from Highschool. I know the site hasn't been updated in while, but we're not on the bikes anymore. It was a great experience but God has moved us on. Every step of our life is a lesson. The lesson that I learned on the bike was obedience, to simply follow and not ask so many questions. Also I learned that once in a while we need to slow down in our lives, stop and take time to smell the roses. Then is when doors will open and we can walk through. There are many hurting and dieing souls in the world today.. We need to reach out in the love of Christ and show the world who Jesus really is!! Shout His Name! I like to write poems and short stories, sing praises to my Lord, and SMILE! I also like to take pictures. I use them along with my writing. As a matter of fact, I'm going to College this fall and will be majoring in Photography. I would like to share some poems with you. Here are some of my favorites. This was written on my 17th b-day for my Mother. It was from both me and my brother. The Gardener Subtitle: A Mother's Love Walking along the street One day You saw a rough stone wall Covered with vines Vines that pricked you with their thorns. Then you passed a little bud No two Tangled and dying amongst the thorns. You reached in Bearing the pain And freed us, The two precious buds You pruned us Smoothed our leaves And prayed we would survive. Fifteen days passed with much care Though it seemed only A few moments When you came to thake a look What you found Blew you away The two buds Had grown together To a full bloom Of pink and rosy red combined Their petals shining in the early morning dew |

| Well we are now in Tucson, Az. The Lord had told us to come up here. There was something He wanted to do with us up here. We had accomplished what He wanted accomplished down in Mexico. Now we are in Tucson. When we first came up, God comfirmed that this was where we were sopposed to be. In only four days we were able to rent a nice adobe type house in a fairly decent neighborhood. And listen to this. That was before either of my parents got a job, we had just come up from Mexico and we only had one reference, a freind here in Tucson. But God opened the doors. Also the day we wer moving in, my mom got a job right across the street at an Assisted Living Home. God totally opened the doors there. Now I sell Avon and it's doing pretty good. This opens many doors to share with my neighbors. I know almost everybody on the block. We also have started a pool business. God has moved us in totally new areas. It's great to see what more He has for me just around the bend! |
