Stage: 1 ; 2 ; 3 ; 4 ; 5 ; 6......>>

Cat and Esonia both reacted at once to the alarm. :Must be those disgusting Aqua People again!; Cat said as she ran out of the house, :Let・s go, Esonia!;
        :What is Aqua People?; Yisa asked Esonia.

        :They are aliens. They live underground too. They used to compete with us for water supply and territories.; Esonia told her, :They invade from time to time. We must get rid of them. I have to go. Excuse me.;
        :In that case,; Max was ready to offer her his helping hand, :we・ll go and help out.;

        They went outside together. Cat was battling against an Aqua People who managed to slip into the inner city. Esonia dashed up to her to help. Yisa and Max came to their assistance. (It・s the first battle we can control Esonia!!)

BATTLE: AQUA PEOPLE

        In this battle, your party is set, and Esonia, Yisa and Max are in. The Aqua People are floating (a bit different from flying. Flying is overhead. Floating just means not touching the ground) creatures. Before the battle, you are given a chance to choose Esonia・s weapon, which is critical in the combat.

        The Aqua people attacks you in two ways: physical and magical attack. It will .swim・ up to you and whip you with its poisonous spiky leg. If you・re not lucky enough, you might get poisoned (which means your HP continues to drain uncontrollably until either you treat it, or your HP drops to 0). The Aqua people can also cast either poison or water attribute elemental magic on you.

Make sure that you have a good supply of antipoison potions with you and if a member of your party gets poisoned, you should treat it immediately. If you want to use magic, get Yisa to use thunder-attribute magic. Max should stay on physical attacks, and try to stay as far away as possible from the Aqua people.

As stated above, Esonia・s skill is critical to win the combat. She is more experienced when handling Aqua people than Max or Yisa (since she had fought the Aqua people a lot of times before you even knew they existed) which means she can do more damage to the opponent than the rest of the members of the party. If you choose a dagger for Esonia, there are two modes of attacks: close or distant. For close attacks, you can see her agility as she liberates the combo-attacks. But of course, everything has a little price. Getting too close to the Aqua people can mean being exposed to their poison attacks. For distant attacks, she can throw the dagger at the opponent, but causing a smaller damage.

If you choose a chain whip, Esonia can attack from a distance, and can reduce the chance of being poisoned, and she can also release combo-attacks, but they are less threatening than using a dagger-combo.
