  Hot damn, a whole year has gone by with no updates. Wow, that's bad. But I am still writing. Little spurts here and there, but I'm still at it. I just found out that Geocities is closing down soon so I'm moving everything over to a new livejournal account at jasecarly. I hope everyone is able to follow over and friend me to get updates when they do happen. Thanks to everyone who has emailed and is still checking in!

  Wow, yeah, it's been a long time, huh? If anyone is still out there reading - you freakin' amaze me. The good news is after watching some Jason/Carly clips on YouTube, specifically Carly's Heaven, I got hit by my muse. I'm still a firm believer that J/C will be together one day. And I really do adore Laura Wright as Carly. She's the grown up version of what I wanted Carly to become. Anyways, update! Family Secrets has been updated! Yeah, I know it's been over a year (yikes!). I have to finish up the epilogue, but then that one's done and on to finishing up Blonde Ambition. Also updated is my newest Logan/Veronica fic Can't Let You Go. Again, thank you to everyone who's emailed me and encouraged me to keep on writing. Just know that I'll never give up on my J/C love. Ever. I'll be back soon, promise!

  Hey, my peeps! A new short has been posted titled A Spencer Family Meeting. I'm still working on my other J/C stories including finishing up Family Secrets. I've been really busy with work and I'll be going out of the country for the month of September. I'm hoping my time away will get my writing juices going.  Just know I'm not giving up on my other fics. And thanks for continuing to hang in there with me. It's much appreciated :)

  So, I have writer's block. And I was getting tired of the old look. And it's springtime. So I decided to do some spring cleaning around here and created a new look for the place. Likey? No likey? I know it's very plain compared to other sites, but eh, whatever ;)  I'll fix the story pages later. I think I distracted myself enough and I'm off to try to write some more :)

  Dude, three updates in three months? Is that a record or what? lol. Seriously, Chapter 13 of Family Secrets is up! I'm almost done with this one folks. One more chapter and the epilogue and it's ready to go. I'll be starting up Blonde Ambition again next. Chapter 14 is in the very beginning stages right now so I'm not even gonna put out a ready to be posted date. The one remains TBA (sorry!)
  
  Also, for you Logan/Veronica (Veronica Mars) fans out there, I wrote a short for them for my BFF/sis/beta, Tanya. It was her very belated X-Mas gift. You can read Sometimes The Last Thing You Want Is Just What You Need here.
  
  My friends, I can't tell you how much I appreciate that you stick around and read my stuff. Y'all rule! Apparently, feedback does kinda kick my ass in gear, so as always - feedback is my friend.

  Alright, look at this! Me being consistent (sorta). Sorry this is a few days late, it was one crazy weekend my peeps. Anyways, as promised Chapter 12 of Family Secrets is up! Like I said before this was originally written for Chapter 11, but it got too long so this is mostly filler. Plus, I thought it would be a nice departure from the past two heavy chapters :)  Remember feedback is loved and adored like Logan Echolls. ;)

  Me? Sleepy. You? Hopefully still around and reading. Holy hell, I can't believe a year has almost gone by without an update. Just . . . wow. Good news? I'm still writing. Bad news? Don't know how long that's going to last. Better news? I have another chapter (Chapter 11) of Family Secrets up! Even better news? Chapter 12 will be up next week! I hope that there's still some of you out there waiting for updates :) Chapter 11 was way super long so I ended up cutting it into three separate chapters. Right now I'm hoping to end it with 14 and then the epilogue. I'm so close to finishing this one, I can taste it!
  
  BTW, added a ton more fics to the Library/Fic Rec section of the site. I know I'm lacking in the Jason/Carly front. Anyone know of any good ones I can add/read? Dudes, yes, there is a Patrick/Robin section. Pigs, apparently, can fly! I am the last person who ever thought I'd like the character of Robin (see Tomorrow), but holy crap, I kinda lover her with Patty! There is also are  Jim/Pam (The Office) and Logan/Veronica (Veronica Mars) sections. And that very last one? It's a telenovela from Spain called Yo Soy Bea. If you're a fan of Ugly Betty, you may know that that show is based on the Columbian novela Yo Soy Betty, La Fea. Which in turn spawned shitloads of versions inclduing the Mexican version, La Fea Más Bella, that I have been watching relgiously since last April. Yo Soy Bea is probably the better of all of them. And, yes, there is a fic and yep, it's in Spanish. I can't be the only bilingual (I almost wrote bipolar) fan out there. Give it a shot, you won't be sorry!
  
  Again, I can't help but apologize and thank the folks who have continued to stick around and those of you who have asked about updates and encouraged to keep writing. If it weren't for y'all, there would be no fic. Also, mucho thanks to my sis Tanya for the yelling threats beta help and general wonderfullness that is her ;)

  Yo, my peeps! Look at this another update within a couple of weeks! ;) I finally posted Chapter 10 of Family Secrets! After re-reading it a few times, I decided it was good to go and I hope you like it. I have nothing written for the remaining chapters, but the outline is solid so it shouldn't be that hard (crosses fingers).
  
  As soon As soon as I wrap up Family, it's back to Blonde Ambition. Again thank you to ALL of you who have hung in with me these past few years. I'm so happy to know that Jason/Carly is still a couple that people haven't forgotten about. Much love and hugs to you all. I'd cause a blackout and doodle in my planner to protect you, but don't ever doubt that I love you [um, sorry, again too much AMC watching]

  Really quick update for now. I wrote a new short the other day titled He Wants to Hate Her. Something different for me and I like how it came out. Hope you like it too! 
  
  I'm struggling with the end of Chapter 10 of Family Secrets, but I'm thinking of posting it as is. I'll do another run through it and maybe post it this weekend. My outline for the remaining chapters is really detailed so it's just a matter of writing my ideas out. Thanks for continuing to hang with me, I know it's a pain in the ass ;)

• December 30, 2005:
  Happy New Year everyone!! I have three resolutions for 2006 (1) Lose weight for an upcoming wedding I'm in (2) Find a new job and (3) Finish up all of my forgotten fanfic that I have. I never make resolutions because I know I'll always break them, but this year is going to be different and I intend on keeping all three of them.
  
  So I'm starting off the new year a little early, but in a good way. Chapter 9 of Family Secrets is now up. I'm posting it without it being edited by someone else, so I apologize for any errors I may have missed. As always, feedback isn't guaranteed to make me write faster, but it couldn't hurt either. Feedback is good, feedback is my friend.
  
  Chapter 10 of Family is coming along nicely and I have a large portion of it actually completed so I'm hoping to have that up soon as well. Sometime in the new year. I kid. Seriously, I want this done so I'll be working hard on it. The recent scenes with the NuNuNuCarly on GH is kinda bringing me back to my J/C love. I still hate what the show has done to the characters, but it makes me teary when Jason and Carly talk of their past. It's the same reaction I have whenever Luke mentions Laura, the tears just start flowing. Anyway, I'm really getting back into my groove so I hope to have the story completed within the next two months. No lie. I've cut down on the chapters, my outline is steady and solid so aside from the hateful writer's block, I should be good to go.
  
  Again mucho mi culpa's going around and I mean that. I can't thank those of you who still stick around for updates enough. If I could, I would totally carry your baby using your egg and your presumed dead husband's sperm. Ahem. Sorry I've been watching All My Children too much, hee.

• November 28, 2005: Better late than never ;). I've been back from a short vacation for a week now and I kept forgetting to post this. But good news! Chapter 5 of Blonde Ambition is up! I'm storing this fic away until I can get Family Secrets done. I do apologize again for the lack in updates. It's been hard to get a handle on writing for J/C again so I've been watching old clips of them and when I'm not blubbering away, I get mad at the damn writers and show for not giving me this couple the right way [/rant]. I have a lot written for Family, I just have to piece it together in a way that makes sense. And I have started, it's just a matter of filling in the missing pieces to get the story to flow right.
  
  This weekend while watching my Lost DVDs, I started working on something to help me get back into my J/C lovefest. First of all, I created a slideshow, but Tripod/RealSlideshow is giving me one mother of a headache. I'm working on it, but I've come to realize that half of the slideshows that I did make way back when are no longer working. It's been added to my list of things to do ;) Also, while enjoying my Lost, I started making an mvid of Jason/Carly. It's my first, it took me forever, but it really did help me with my focusing.

  I have a real update this time, lol. I'm very happy to say that Chapter 4 of Blonde Ambition is finally up! Yes, I know, finally ;)
  
  There's also a new banner on the Home Page. Thanks to Ernarae for creating the lovely banner. It's so purty, lol. I'm not technically changing the name of the site, I just think the phrase "always on your side" is very Jason and Carly.
  
  And according to the results of the survey, Family Secrets will be the fic I will be concentrating on. I have to go into my various journals/books to see what I have written that needs to be typed out, take a look at my outline, and hopefully finish up that puppy soon. I have one more chapter of Blonde Ambition done that needs to be edited and such, but that will be the last update on that story until I finish Family. After those two, I'll be moving on to the shorts. Michael (tentative title) and Once Upon a Time and Nothing as It Seems will be completed. And then I'll clean up everything else I have. I have a crapload of stuff written out on paper, it's just a matter of trying to dechipher my own writing (it's hard, believe me, especially if I write something in the middle of the night in the dark) and then typing everything out and putting it in the order that it needs to go. Whew!
  
  Expect Chapter 5 of Blonde to be posted shortly and then the last chapters of Family. Thanks to everyone for hanging in there with me. I know I hate it when stories I read are never finished, so I realize what great patience you've had with me ;) So until next time my peeps, take care!

• August 21, 2005: I'm horrible, I know! I'm getting my urge to write again so I hope that means more updates soon.   Oh man, I just realized it's been almost a year since I last updated. I have no excuse, lmao. I've gone through three jobs since then though, lol, and writer's block seems to follow me wherever I go. Um, not much of an update of the Jason/Carly variety. I am still writing for them, it's just harder these days [sigh]. I do have two chapters of Blonde Ambition thisclose to being posted, look for those these weekend (swear!). Family Secrets has gone from one twist to another and I need to focus on just finishing it, also very close to being done. I have next week off so I'm hoping to get some stuff done.
  
  I did, however, write a new fic for Ric/Alexis. Sorry I'm in love with them right now. I stopped watching the show two years ago and Ric and Alexis did the impossible and sucked me back into that damn show. I considered not posting the fic here as it is a J/C site, but I might have to expand the site now, lol. Anyway, if you're a fan of the couple let me know because I have a few other story ideas for them. Pieces of You, it's what broke the writer's block. Be glad or scared ;)

  Hola! First of all, I'd like to thank those of you who took the time and completed the Family Secrets Reader Survey. The information you guys provided has pretty much solidified how the rest of this story is going to play out. If you haven't taken it yet, please do so, because it really is helpful to me.
  
  Ok, on to the news! Family Secrets Chapter 8 has now been posted. This was written prior to the survey, but I hope you enjoy it. It's a lot of filler, but I hope it's fun filler, lol. Prior to the survey, Chapters 9 and 10 were written, but like I said, I'm going to go a different route now so they've been scraped. Rewrites are ongoing, so unfortunately I can't give you a definite date of the next update. What I can tell you that there will be less chapters than I originally thought and that means that the story will be reaching its end sooner rather than later.
  
  So thanks again to everyone who's still reading and giving me feedback, it's much appreciated and loved. Until next time!

  Hi everybody! I've got some news for you. I've hit a big fat snag with Family Secrets, so I'm asking you for your help. I'm really torn on where to go with this story and my outline has pretty much been shredded. So I'm asking for your opinion. I created a survey to see what you, the reader, like/dislike about this story. So I'm asking anyone who's read Family to take the Reader Survey and hopefully that will get me back on track.
  
  Chapter 8 is *this close* to being finished and will most be likely posted this week. It's the chapters afterwards that have me at a standstill, so the survey will be beyond helpful. Thanks so much for the help, I really appreciate it!

  Hello everyone, long time no speak. I realize that I've gotten really horrible at updating this site, but hopefully that will change soon. Real life has a tendency to sneak up on you when you least expect it, lol. The good news? New chapter of Blonde Ambition is up! Chapter 3 has been posted. And also, way back in February I made a new slideshow, but never posted it. So, You Raise Me Up dedicated to Jason and Carly (both actresses), can be found on the Slideshow Page
  
  Like I mentioned on the Mailing List, I have not stopped writing, it's just coming in spurts right now, lol. The next chapter of Family Secrets is really long and pretty much finished, I just need to add a little bit more to a particular section. So hopefully, that will be posted sooner rather than later.

  Happy New Year everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm just now getting over the evil flu that's been going around. Got sick Christmas Day and I'm still trying to kick the tail end of it. I have a nice little update for you though. First of all, Chapter 7 of Family Secrets has been posted. This story was nominated at the GH Readers Choice Awards, but alas, did not win. It was an honor being nominated at all that jazz ;) Secondly, chapter 2 of Blonde Ambition has been posted as well.
  
  And finally a new slideshow! I did this a bit ago, but the flu thing happened yadda yadda yadda. It's of Jason and Carly done to the hauntingly beautiful song "The Scientist" by Coldplay. And yes, the slide is based upon their gorgeous video for said song. Enjoy it, I think it's one of my favorites from the ones I've done. It has a bit of Tamara Braun, but mostly Sarah Brown. And for you J/C purists out there, there is a reason why TB is in it, but it doesn't last long, you can still watch ;) There is a method to my madness.   I've gotten a kick in the ass from my muse and the writing is back! Go me! lol. Have a lot of stuff for you guys today. First of all, Chapter 6 of Family Secrets has been posted. This story has been nomiated for best crossover fiction at GH Readers Choice Awards. I'm sorry I had to pimp myself out there, hee.
  
  Secondly, the cast list and the first chapter of Blonde Ambition has been posted. New story that I've been working on for . . . well a really long ass time. lol. I have three more chapters completed that need to be looked over, so they should be posted shortly.
  
  And thirdly, a new short Goodbye To You has been added.
  
  See, I've been a busy girl! I hope to have further updates shortly. I've hit a minor roadblock with Family, but I would say a good two-thirds of the next chapter is completed. I'm off to Florida for a much needed vacation next week, so I'll be back mid-November. (Thank you sweet Jesus!) And if this vacation goes anything like previous ones, I'll most likely have more ideas for stories by the time I get back ;) So until November, people, have a great one!

  Hello all! What's that you say? It's been a long time? Yeah, I know, I suck, what can I say? ;) Real life has not been very kind to this little latin chick, what can I say. I'm in the middle of a family emergency and work is basically sucking what little energy I have left out of me. I just wanted to give you a quick little update. I'm still working on Family Secrets. I haven't abandoned it and I have no intentions of doing so. So I'm asking you to hang on for a bit longer.

• July 16, 2003:
  Yes, I know, I suck. lol. It has been one hell of a month, I'll tell you that. Good news? Not only is the next chapter of Tomorrow up, the epilogue is up as well. That's right folks. Tomorrow Will Be Okay is now finished. ::sniff:: It's actually a little sad, but I'm VERY glad I'm done with it. More good news? Chapter 5 of Family Secrets is up as well! The last scene in that chapter gave me the hardest time, it kicked my ass up and down the street, that's for sure.
  
  I'm not sure when I'm going to update Family again. The entire story is outlined and I have quite a few chunks of it written, it's just a matter of finding the time and being able to concentrate on writing and finishing chapters. Good luck to me, lol. I would describe Family as a big jigsaw puzzle right now. And of course I have quite a few other fics sitting in my hard drive that need to be completed as well. And by quite a few, I mean 2 long fics and 5 shorts. Hopefully I'll be able to get to those soon. Family Secrets has moved up to the top spot on my things to do list (non work related of course lol). • June 17, 2003:
  I hurt my wrist last week and it hurts like hell to type, so I actually have a valid reason for missing last week's post, LOL. Chapter 21 of Tomorrow is up (and damn if it didn't hurt like hell posting it too). We have one more chapter and then the epilogue. I finally finished writing Chapter 5 of Family Secrets (damn that last scene kicked my ass) and I'm sending that to my beta tonight. I went thru my files tonight and to my surprise I have three slideshows done that I haven't posted. One for Jason and Carly (of course), one for Spike and Buffy, and one for Todd and Blair. Some of you may know Roger Howarth has left OLTL and is going to ATWT so this is my little goodbye to them. ::sniff:: All three can be found on the Slideshow Page. And as always, feedback rocks! 
  
  
• June 3, 2003:
  It's Tuesday so that means it's update time for Tomorrow! Chapter 20 of Tomorrow Will Be Okay is now up. Only three more chapters to go folks and we can close the book on this fic. I'm currently working on Family Secrets and I'm crossing my fingers that chapter 5 will be up if not this next week, the week after. I just have to write the last scene. And in case you were wondering, the story is completly outlined and I have a large portion written, it's just that there's stuff that I need to add in the middle, so hang in there. I'm also working on two shorts, but I'm not sure when I'll be finished with those. So check back often for updates for those and if you haven't already, add yourself to my update list which you can do so here. • April 15, 2003:
  Big update and it's been coming since it's been a LONG time since I've updated. LOL. First of all, today, April 15th, is a big day. Why?
  
  Well (1) It's tax day in the states (boo). (2) One year ago today I bought my Saturn (yay me, lol) and (3) It's one year EXACTLY since I last updated Tomorrow (ouch). LMAO. Good news? Chapter 15 of Tomorrow Will Be Okay is now up. Better news? Tomorrow is actually finished (double yay) and a new chapter will be posted every Tuesday for the next two months. It's in the process of being edited and I'm evil enough to make you wait (hee).
  
  In other good news, Family Secrets has been updated as well. Chapter 4 is up and I'm working on the rest of the story. I'm hoping the whole thing will be done within the next two months. I am working on it though so please hang in there.
  
  I added two new slides to the Slideshow Page last week, just forgot to post it here. One of the slides is of Spike and Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I just started watching that show in November, but I got hooked to it and to Spike and Buffy. It's not a soap, but damn those two are hot (lmao). Anyways, enjoy and I'll be back next week.
  
  One more thing, I've noticed that when trying to get into my site or the various pages, Yahoo shows you the "Sorry the Page You Request Cannot Be Found". I have no idea what's going on, but the pages are there. I've hit reload and they pop up afterwards. So please don't think the site is gone. Yahoo is just a pain. Sorry about that folks.
