I guess we've been a bit busy lately.
And my little baby is a little kid now. I can't believe how big he's getting. It was really nice yesterday and we went to a park. It had a huge wooden castle play thing. He was squealing and doing his new run in place thing when we got out of the car. He was so excited.
He ran around in the pebbles. I pushed him on the swing. He tried to follow a bunch of older kids. He climbed and crawled. He got pretty dirty. It was great. I think we'll try another park today.
He seems so much more alert and agile than other kids I see his age. His eyes are just different, I think. That was one of the most common comments we got when we was smaller. "What brights eyes . . . He's so observant."
I really haven't felt very pregnant lately. But I noticed my tummy yesterday. It's definitely pooching out. I put on a pair of bigger shorts that I bought when I still had baby weight last summer and they're only going to last a couple more weeks. People probably just think I have a big stomach right now. I don't know when I'll start wearing maternity clothes. I actually wish I was bigger now. I wouldn't mind carrying it around for a few extra months. I just like being pregnant and looking pregnant. I don't like this in between stage. Then again, I need to get a job before I'm looking very pregnant.
I've been trying to prepare for the Bradley training workshop, too. I still have a lot to do and only about 10 days to do it. The huge book outline for Husband Coached Childbirth is going to be tough. I need to start staying up later.
