GUN CONTROL:
The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound.

Where is Gun Control in Canada Headed?
In 1994, an English homeowner, armed with a toy gun, managed  to detain two burglars who had broken into his house, while he called the police. When the officers arrived they arrested the homeowner for using an imitation gun to put someone in fear. Parliament is now considering making imitation guns illegal.
Is There Any Wonder Why Criminals Have No Fear in The U.K.?  This is What The Liberals Have Planned For Canada. It's Hard To Believe That Putting a Criminal in 'Fear' is Actually a Crime in Britain.
To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing
violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept
defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic."

Another book that blows the guncontrol zealots out of the water
Blaming violence on guns and fanning hysteria over accidental deaths to children from firearms are staples of anti-gun propaganda. Media help gun-control zealots spread false information  that gun ownership and self-defense are certain paths to injury and death. Handgun Control,  Inc., gives erroneous advice that if you are attacked, the best way to avoid injury 'is to put up no  defense.' Anti-gun zealots blame the actions of criminals on guns and argue that disarming  law-abiding gun owners is the best way to reduce the crime rate. Scholars such as Gary Kleck,  Don Kates and John Lott have demonstrated the falsity of these claims. Now comes an  important new book from Harvard University Press. 'Guns and Violence' by Bentley College  history professor Joyce Lee Malcolm brings new evidence that guns reduce violence."(ALL of the information distributed and promoted by the 'gun control lobby' is based on distorted statistics, and fudged numbers. There has never been a accurate, undisputed fact published by them as yet! This book pulls even more rugs out from under these folks whose only valid reason for wanting your firearms banned, is "They don't like guns, or are scared of them". In other words, their whole foundation is 'ignorance' and the unwillingness to be educated. Never before has any group been presented with as many 'true facts' as they have, and still continue to ignore them. This says an awful lot about the people who would attempt to disarm you, and confiscate your personal property. The Canadian Gun law has just suffered a serious defeat in the Ontario Courts, and there will be many more to come. Enough of our tax money has been wasted on this farce, and it's time ALL Canadian JUST SAY NO to Liberal 'feel good' legislation. I know hundreds of gun owners, from police officers to plumbers, and NONE of them are registering ALL their guns. The good ones are being put away, and the junkers are being registered. The general consensus is, "I'll register what I need, and can afford to loose in the coming confiscation's" the rest will vanish until this lunacy is done with. So much for the great Liberal gun control scheme. Millions of legally obtained and owned  firearms will remain unregistered and safe from the future government confiscation plans, and a billion tax dollars has simply been flushed down the Liberal toilets of Canada. Will Martin do the right thing when he eventually replaces Chrétien? Lets hope he has a few more brain cells than his predecessor).
Thanks, but No Thanks! We do it 'Dogma' Style
Police shouldn't be enforcing church's morals, lawyer says
TORONTO - Toronto police committed an "absolute abuse" when they stopped a Catholic activist from handing out pamphlets with a condom attached to World Youth Day pilgrims, says lawyer Breese Davies. (Honest Miss, your not pregnant.. Although 'not in a case' my gun wasn't loaded. Possible Charge: Assault with a dead weapon)
Record price for rare Colt found during clear-out
A rare Colt revolver found in an elderly woman's home when her possessions were being removed after she died fetched a record £222,250 at a Bonhams auction in London yesterday. The 1840 Colt Paterson percussion  revolver, which had been expected to fetch up to £120,000, sold for more than four times the value of the woman's terrace house in an unnamed town in  south-west Scotland.(No doubt this 'dangerous' handgun will have to be removed from the country, or confiscated to protect U.K. citizens from 'Gun Crime Radiation'. They all know that handguns cause crime, so this one, being so old and valuable, must be guilty of 'unspeakable' horrors)
16 Liberal MPs willing to declare PM should resign
Many other MPs told the Post they also want Mr.  Chrétien to quit as soon as possible and will vote against him in the review if he doesn't, but declined to go on record. Dan McTeague and David Pratt, Ontario Liberal MPs, both came close to adding their names to the list, but  said they aren't ready at this time.(Chrétien 'should' stick around until the next general election. That way he can leave the Liberals in the same shape as Mulroney left the Conservatives. He doesn't have a 'Kim Campbell',  so maybe he can appoint Hedy Fry?)
Liberals suffer Embarrassing loss in Newfoundland Byelection
St. John's — Newfoundland's governing Liberals were licking their wounds late Wednesday after a former Liberal premier suffered an embarrassing byelection loss to his Conservative rival. The hard-fought contest sets the stage for a bare-knuckle brawl in the next general election, which is expected next spring or sooner.(And now for a big pile of embarrassing losses by the 'Federal' Liberals in the next election..)
RED-TAPE AND TAXES DRIVING HUNTERS OUT OF THEIR SPORT, COMES A HUGE COST
Since the government started introducing gun control laws targeting law abiding firearms owners in 1979, the number of hunters in Canada has been in a steady decline.  While some of this drop may be due to “cultural attitudes towards hunting and shooting sports” much of the decline can be attributed to government red tape.  For example, between 1966 the number of Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permits issued was 380,059 reaching a high of 524,946 in 1978 and dropping to just 191,444 in 2000.  Source: Canadian Wildlife Service Migratory Birds Regulatory Report Number 5 – December 2001. (You simply can't take a major predator (humans) out of the picture, and expect things to carry on as usual. You can't let your children play in any waterside park anymore because they will be covered in goose shit in ten minutes. Deer are bouncing off car bumpers in record numbers, and sometimes causing severe injury and death to the driver and passengers. Removing a predator ALWAYS results in large numbers of animal deaths due to disease and road kill. Our main problem? Firearms and hunting laws are generally made by city dwelling yuppies, who don't have a clue as to the havoc they are creating. The Ontario cancellation of the spring bear hunt is a CLASSIC example. 30 years ago, I didn't live in "Bear Country" but I do now, and I haven't moved! There have been 8 bear sightings as far south as Newmarket Ontario and a 400 lb bear was killed on the highway just to the west. Bears haven't been seen in this area for over 100 years. This is not normal, this is the result of  'political' decisions that are upsetting the balance of nature, and the human predator is a part of nature. I wonder how long it will be before something like this happens. Only, in Canada, the 'unarmed'  homeowner will probably be killed.)
Under Liberal Dictatorship: Canada 'still' in 3rd place from 1st
A year after losing its long-held position as the most desirable place to live, Canada remains No.3 on the United Nations quality-of-life index, behind Norway and Sweden, the latest U.N. report says.(Hell, you might even say "We're 3rd from the Left", Chrétien 'always' took the credit when we were in 1st place, it only stands to reason his dictatorial government is why we are now in 3rd place.)
Collision-Path Asteroid 'Biggest Threat Yet'
An asteroid on a collision path with the Earth is the most threatening object yet detected in space, an MP said today. Astronomers initially spotted asteroid 2002 NT7 on July 5, through the Linear Observatory’s automated sky survey programme in New Mexico in the United States. Their initial calculation show it is due to hit our planet on February 1, 2019. A two-kilometre wide asteroid travelling at 28km a second could cause tidal waves, massive fires, provoke volcanic activity and the “electromagnetic pulse  would fry most of the electronics on earth”, said Mr Opik. “If this object hits the Earth it will probably set back civilisation by many years – there’s no way of under-selling the danger.”(Think about it! You may 'need' your guns in 17 years. If this thing hits, you'll need them to keep and protect what's yours!)
Always Ignoring What Canadians Think;Chretien dismisses damning poll
Only 14 per cent of the poll's 907 respondents said Chrétien should stay on the  job, although 44 per cent said they would vote for a Liberal party led by him.  Chrétien quipped he plans to put in a good word for Canada's agricultural sector Tuesday by asking Pope John Paul to pray for drought-stricken farmers. "I'll be meeting the Pope and I'll ask him to pray for rain," he said.(Farmers don't need your prayers you pompous old fart! they need financial help. But in true liberal fashion, 'feel good' legislation, new private jets, and money to help your buddies always come first.  Are you sure greeting the Pope, will not cause serious burns to your right hand?)
Grits score $82G flight to Olympics
Taxpayers forked out $82,000 to fly federal Liberals on an executive jet to the  men's Olympic gold-medal hockey game in Utah.   Eight Liberals flew to the game from Ottawa on a Challenger jet Feb. 24, according to flight logs obtained by the Tories. (Not only do the thieving members of this government use your tax money to licence, register, and eventually confiscate your personal property, they also seem to think your dollars, are their dollars.. To spend as they wish.. Just another bit of corruption comes to the surface of the Liberal cesspool)
And the "Liberal Culture of Safety" Continues
A 20-year-old man was shot to death in front of horrified onlookers jammed along Eglinton Ave. W. in a tragic end to yesterday's Junior Carnival parade. "The guy got out of his car and just shot him point blank, then got back into the car and drove off," one witness said following the incident at 9 p.m., hours after the parade.(Please note: This man was NOT shot by a 'duck hunter' or 'target shooter'.  PLEASE keep in mind, The Liberals have spent ONE BILLION DOLLARS, controlling ONLY the firearms of  law abiding citizens, and YOU, or this poor fellow, are not one bit safer for it! That SAME amount of money COULD have put 1000 police officers on the job in major cities right across this country, for over 20 YEARS. Consider how many lives THAT could have saved?)
Liberal Gun Law Violates Privacy, Court Says
It allows for wholesale fishing expeditions in which the police are permitted to invade an individual's privacy in circumstances where they may have no  reason to even suspect, let alone believe, that the person of concern has any  weapons or other dangerous items in his or her possession," said Moldaver, writing for justices Eleanore Cronk and Eileen Gillese. The court gave Parliament six months to rewrite the law. In the meantime, the court said  police who want to obtain search warrants to look for guns should follow proposed draft legislation, submitted to the court by the federal and provincial attorneys-general. The (new) legislation requires police to provide some evidence to show they have reasonable grounds to believe that a person has a weapon or ammunition and that it isn't in the interest of public safety for them to possess it.(Ottawa has 6 months to re-write 'this' part of C68.. If this ridiculous law (all of C68) is not repealed, the courts will have to waste another billion dollars chipping away at all the intrusions, proposed confiscation's, and many other violations of the constitution by this Liberal brain fart, until it's more of a hopeless mess than it is now. )
Worldcom Bankruptcy Spurs HUGE Losses on world Markets
Maybe its a real good reason all the windows in highrise office towers are now hermetically sealed! Look up...Look Way up... Watch for falling stockbrokers)
Another Australian Gun Amnesty
"QUEENSLAND gun owners will be able to surrender illegal weapons without prosecution under an amnesty to start later this year. It will be only the second gun amnesty since 1996-97 when 130,000 weapons were handed in to Queensland authorities in the wake of tough new national gun laws following the Port Arthur massacre.(And for those keeping track, the Port Arthur massacre was carried out with a gun that had been turned into authorities during a 'previous' amnesty, but had 'somehow' fallen off the conveyor belt on the way to destruction. This next amnesty may very well supply unregistered and highly prized firearms for the 'next' covert operation further designed to disarm Australia from within.)
Biased Report by Gun Control Group Finds Gun Safety Programs Fail To  Protect GangBangers and Young Criminals
Gun safety programs aimed at young people do not work and have done little to reduce the 20,000 children killed or injured by guns in the United States every year, a foundation report says.(Their definition of 'child' goes up to age 19. The VAST majority of teenagers killed by guns, are gang banger and drug dealers killed by other gang bangers and drug dealers. All the education in the world is not going to prevent those deaths. Do these simpletons feel that the educational program has failed because after telling young gang punks that guns are dangerous, they are not saying "Ya your right" and giving them up? TRUE gun safety issues have been extremely successful in reducing 'accidental shootings' to the point where more young children drown by falling head first into 5 gallon buckets or into swimming pools than by gunshot. Perhaps now we need 'Bucket 'n' Pool Control')
Europe Shocked by Serious Crimes
LONDON (AP) - For years, many Europeans have seen the United States  as the epitome of the Wild West, where gun control laws are weak, too many people own weapons and violent crime is widespread. That helps explain why so many Europeans are shocked by recent serious gun crimes in their countries, including several mass killings and the July 14 attempt to assassinate the French president.(Europeans are loosing their smugness regarding the U.S.A. Crazy people live in Europe too. The main difference? 'Their' crazy people and criminals KNOW they are not going to run into any armed opposition, and more gun control laws affecting only the law abiding will continue to assure that.)
Killer, Rapist to Be Thrown Off Cliff in Sack
TEHRAN (Reuters) - An Iranian man, convicted for raping and killing his 16-year-old nephew, will be executed by being thrown off a cliff in a sack, a newspaper reported on Thursday.  If the unnamed man survives the fall down a rocky precipice, he will be hanged, legal experts said. He has 20 days to appeal the court sentence. (This should be the 'standard' method for disposing of all killer-rapists.. Particularly child killers.. Somehow, even 'this' does not seem a fitting punishment!)
MPs charge Chretien with 'legacy envy'
OTTAWA - Jean Chrétien, the Prime Minister, is  suffering from "legacy envy" and should be seeking to improve all Canadian roadways rather than expanding the Trans-Canada Highway as his political swan song, opposition MPs and members of his own caucus said  yesterday.(LEGACY! LEGACY! This ass has already left Canadians with the Legacy of being the leader of the most corrupt Canadian Government in the history of our Country! How about the Legacy of  C68, one single Liberal Brain Fart, that has created the LARGEST number of  legislated criminals in the entire history of the free world! What about a legacy to his arrogance, it's 'almost' at the same level as Trudeau's, the only thing missing is the 'one finger salute' and the fact that Chrétien can't even pronounce the word "Fuddle Duddle". If this doddling old fart wants to leave Canadians with a good feeling, maybe he should just rebuild the part of the highway that goes from Ottawa to Shawinigan, and be on his way. )
Child Murdering Parolee shot by police in B.C.
SURREY, B.C. - A man shot and killed by police in British Columbia Wednesday was out on parole for the murder of his two young children.   Police shot and killed Travis Arbuckle, 42, as he held his girlfriend at knifepoint on the balcony of a home in Surrey. The woman escaped unharmed. (This, 'more than satisfying' resolution to another obvious 'who gives a damn he won't be in my neighbourhood' decision by the clowns on the federal parole board, will now save the taxpayer a bundle and, god knows how many more lives. Good shot officers!  What would be the point of arresting him, the Liberal minded parole board would only release him again, and after all, someone has to take out the garbage. It might as well be the people who have to deal with it!)
Saddam vows to win war
"The wind will blow away foreign rattling as the noise of an evil covetous tyrant, the enemy of Allah, and Iraq will
eventually emerge triumphant," Saddam Hussein said, urging his countrymen to "fight with valour, chivalry, patience and resolve."(I think the cartoon paints the entire picture!)

BREITKREUZ ISSUES FOURTH ERROR REPORT ON GUN REGISTRY
Yorkton – Today, Garry Breitkreuz, Official Opposition Critic on Firearms and Property Rights, issued his fourth error report on the government’s problem-plagued gun registry.  “After seven years and a billion-dollar blunder,” Breitkreuz asks, “I wonder how much longer can the Liberals keep claiming the gun registry is a huge success?”  “Maybe the Auditor General will finally be able to get the government to face reality when she reports to Parliament in November.” (ALSO READ: "New Information". Unfortunately, a lot of Gary's news releases are ignored by the largely left wing media. But news papers 'do' print well worded 'letters to the editor' do your part, write a later to your newspaper, and complain bitterly about this horrendous waste of taxpayers money. My personal experience has been that more and more small town newspapers, and many radio personalities are pointing out the major flaws in C68, particularly in Toronto where most of the liberal voters reside.)
Ottawa may ease laws on marijuana possession
OTTAWA — Canada may follow Britain's lead in decriminalizing marijuana use by making simple possession of small amounts of pot a ticketing offence, Justice Minister Martin Cauchon said yesterday.(Here we have a Justice Minister who thinks that you should receive a 10 year jail sentence for not getting a licence and registering the old .22 you have legally owned since the day your grandfather gave it to you 50 years ago, but pot smoking is now a 'misdemeanour'. I agree with not throwing people in jail for simple possession, but this sure lets the public know that pot heads are more acceptable to the Liberals than clear headed hunters and target shooters. AND, this obviously answers the most prevalent question surrounding C68: "What kind of drugs were you on when you wrote this mess"?)
Canadians healthier, wealthier, but pessimistic
The Personal Security Index is a revealing snapshot of our well-being and our psyches compiled by the Canadian Council on Social Development, and it shows increasingly we perceive ourselves to be worse off than we are. Simply put, our perceptions are at odds with reality.(Who's 'reality' are they at odds with? If it's the 'reality' put forth by the Liberals, it's no 'reality' at all. If your a wealthy politician, your 'reality' is pretty safe.. But try inflicting your sense of  'reality' on the city variety store owner who's been robbed several times this year, or that of the single mother in a bad neighbourhood who lives in constant fear of having her front door kicked in by crack heads looking for cash, or that of a jewish father of  6 stabbed to death in Toronto by a Cowardly Skinhead. Politicians, Lawyers, and the 'elite' that make up the rules for the rest of us, have a 'reality' that is much different than that of ordinary people!)
Chirac is the target of gunman in Paris
Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy confirmed that the man had aimed at Chirac and said the president had been within range of the shooter, who was at least 100 to 150 meters (330 to 500 feet) away from the vehicle in which Chirac was riding. "The range of a .22-caliber rifle is significantly greater than 150 meters," Sarkozy said at a news conference Sunday evening. "The individual said he intended to kill the president and then commit suicide."(Under the circumstances, standing in a crowd, iron sights, 150 meter range, .22 cal rifle, if he'd actually hit Chirac it would have been a pretty damn good shot!  But, I have to admit that anyone attempting an assassination with a .22 at 150 meters, would also have to be crazy, and crazy people can always get guns. Gun Control Laws only control the guns of the law abiding. It's a good job the people surrounding this clown had the guts to step in and stop him. I wonder now, how long it will take 'this' french assassin to fall out a window like the last one! It's crude, but effective!)

What the Hell is the Motto of  these flakes? "Release your animals, or we'll kill you"?
Read the whole report by clicking the link above... With the new "Animal Rights" laws passes by the city dwelling liberals, Canadian Farmers may have to shoot a few of these "trespassers" in self defence, or the defence of their property. This document ('evidence' published by them!) certainly shows they are potentially dangerous to life and property, and as such, a legitimate target for those and their families who may find themselves potentially placed in danger during one of their "Direct Actions"! Idiots like these make you want to shoot first, it may be the only chance you have!)
Supreme Court rules Cabinet secrecy has limits,
OTTAWA - The federal government does not have the right to blanket all cabinet documents in a veil of secrecy, the country's highest court ruled Thursday.(Well, this put a definite damper on the Liberal Dictatorship! Ruling documents as 'secret' has always been the standard Liberal ploy to avoid the embarrassment of certain types of information by claiming its 'secret' and denying it's release. Most of the embarrassing information the government does not want released about the waste and ineffectiveness of their "Gun Control Farce" had been labelled as secret! Is there any wonder why?)
Paul Martin's Smoke and mirrors
The "greatest finance minister in Canadian history" is on a roll. But, hey, the  "greatest finance minister in Canadian history" holds the dubious distinction of taking the Canadian dollar down from almost 90 cents US to almost 60 cents US.  Some accomplishment!   With around a 25% decline, the savings and pensions of Canadians were ravaged.  Retail prices of imported goods soared. Our standard of living compared to the average American fell dramatically under Martin's watch.  What kind of con job are Martin's aides and advisers trying to pull? This is the man who gave Canadians the biggest tax hike in history when he upped Canada Pension Plan premiums by some 75%. Despite this staggering hike, the CPP still isn't financially viable.  Martin is also the man who swiped billions of dollars from the Employment Insurance (EI) fund to "balance" the budget. (A "Tax and Spend Liberal" is a "Tax and spend Liberal" there will be no changes, Canadians will still get screwed. Only finally ridding ourselves of this corrupt regime will result in any change. Until then? Bend over, and try to remember your not a Canadian 'Citizen', you are a Canadian 'Subject')
U.S. House votes to let pilots carry guns
Opponents of arming pilots are already lobbying the Senate. A background  paper circulating there prepared by the Violence Policy Center, a  Washington-based gun-control group that opposes arming pilots, asserts that 21 percent of police officers killed with a handgun were shot with their own weapon. And according to the center, ``trained law enforcement officials have only an 18 to 22 percent hit ratio in armed confrontations.''(Are these idiots for real? In the time it takes for the hijackers to gain entry to the cockpit, I think the crew will be ready for them, and it's 'highly' unlikely they will be disarmed and shot with their own guns.  ALSO, a 18-22% hit ratio is a hell of a lot better than the ZERO hit ratio of  unarmed officers. These people must walk around with a fog of crap in their heads which obviously interferes with the rational thought process.)
U.S. House to vote on cockpit guns test
"Arming pilots is the last defense we have before an airliner gets shot down by an F-16 should someone get through the (cockpit) door," Rob Sproc of the Allied Pilots Association said on CNN Wednesday. "This is a program we can get on board relatively quick, with a relatively large number of pilots, to protect the vast majority of flights taking place today."   A poll shows that 78 percent of the association's members support arming pilots.  Results of a similar poll made by the Air Line Pilots Association -- which represents more than 62,000 pilots with 42 U.S. and Canadian airlines -- indicates that 73  percent of its members favor allowing pilots to carry weapons.(If ever agreed to by the Canadian Government, the guns would be trigger locked, in a locked steel box, unloaded and separate from the ammunition that would be under lock and key in another box. THIS according to the liberal hoplophobes would make Canadians flights safer....for the hijackers.... The Liberals still feel it's better to shoot down the airliner full of people into a possible highly populated area, because guns on board an aircraft only increase the potential for violence. Only a Liberal would think this makes 'any' sense at all!)
Ace Canadian sniper had to use U.S. bullets
A world-record shot by a Canadian sniper detachment could never have been made with the ammunition they were issued when they left Edmonton last winter, the triggerman said in a recent interview. The kill, one of more than 20 unofficially accredited to Canadian snipers  during Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan's Shah-i-Kot Valley, beat the  35-year-old record of 2,500 yards, or 2,250 metres, set by U.S. Marine  Gunnery Sgt. Carlos Hathcock in Duc Pho, South Vietnam.  Soldier of Fortune magazine estimated the number of kills made by the Canadians after talking to several U.S. soldiers in Kandahar for a cover  story in its August edition. The snipers themselves will not confirm the figure. But judging from accounts given by Canadians involved in the first major  coalition offensive of the Afghan war, the figure of at least 20 sounds conservative.(Well I can only 'assume' that the rounds issued by the Canadian government, don't intend for our snipers to be 'too' dangerous.. They might hurt somebody.. After all, this 'is' a "Liberal Culture of Safety"!
MPs start closed hearings into federal contract controversy
OTTAWA - Two senior federal bureaucrats in the middle of the Liberals' advertising and sponsorship scandal will appear before a parliamentary committee  Tuesday — but it's a hearing that's off-limits to the public. (Of 'course' it will! Why would the Liberals want the public to know just HOW corrupt they really are? This two man lynching, will simply have to suffice.. There is no way any Liberal Minister is going to come forward and admit he gave the orders, and if these two bureaucrats spill the beans, they sure as hell don't want the public finding out who's (jean the weasel) behind this)
Gun designer Ruger dies
William Batterman Ruger, known as one of America’s greatest gun designers, has died at his home in Prescott, Ariz.  Ruger, 86, was the founder and chairman emeritus of Sturm, Ruger & Co., the largest firearms manufacturer in the U.S. The company manufactures high-quality rifles, shotguns, pistols, and revolvers for a variety of law-enforcement purposes, with a New Hampshire plant in Newport, a plant in Prescott, and corporate headquarters in Southport, Conn. (Another one of the 'greats' gone.. Just one the the famous Firearm names that are known in 'every' household, along with Colt, Mauser, Thompson, Winchester and Remington)
Canadian Shooting victim just wanted a safe trip home
A former sewing and crafts teacher at a school for unwed mothers, Phillips had decided to return to Toronto on El Al "because she wanted a fast flight  with good security," her son Andrew said. El Al offered a non-stop trip to Toronto with armed security guards, he said. As she was shot, she turned and saw "an angry, confused person ... there was  nothing but anger," she told her son, who flew from Toronto to be at his mother's side.(Had this happened in Canada, she along with many others, would have been killed. Because of Liberal Policies, and their general fear of firearms, there would have been NO armed security personal available. All would have been killed while waiting for a response to a 911 call on a cell phone that may or may not work at the airport. AND, what does our government do to protect us from armed El Al security guards on board their aircraft? I would imagine they turn a blind eye, and ignore it(as they should), but doesn't it piss you off to know that our governments trusts Foreigners with firearms and NOT Law Abiding Canadian Citizens)
Canada criticized for 'miserly' AIDS funding
"This is a pathetic and deadly amount of money," James Orbinski of Doctors Without Borders said today.  "It's a really unbelievably miserly allotment to a fund that is required to deal with one of the most devastating health emergencies since the black plague." The criticisms came as Canada announced a $53.3-million contribution to several international initiatives to fight HIV and AIDS. International Co-operation Minister Susan Whelan outlined new funding that will be given to  projects in Kenya, China, Pakistan, the Caribbean and southern Africa. Whelan defended Canada's contribution to the Global Fund and its overall spending on AIDS programs, saying the new package will raise the country's financial commitment to the disease by over $350 million over five years. Prime Minister Jean Chrétien announced a $50-million fund for vaccine research.(I wonder how many lives a Billion Dollars in AIDS research would save? I would imagine it would be a hell of a lot more than the number they will never save by flushing that same amount down the 'Federal Gun Control Toilet')
Criminal Ignored Firearms Registry/Man killed over $10 cover charge
Within about 15 minutes, two of the youths returned.  "All hell broke loose," Jennifer Moore said. "They smashed (the) door ... and  they came in. "They put gloves on. One had a semi-automatic, one had a .38 with a silencer."  When they spotted her husband in the kitchen, they started toward him. Moments later, she saw one man standing there, gun in hand.  "I'm going to kill you," she heard him say and then swore as he began firing. "I was standing right there in the kitchen," she said. "At the time I didn't know my husband was shot. I figured maybe they missed... maybe it was just a flesh wound. I didn't know what happened."(How in the hell is Licensing and registering all the guns of Law Abiding hunters, and target shooters going to prevent outright criminal bastards from doing things like this. Or perhaps a better question might be: If this Liberal Gun Farce is doing such a "Fantastic" job, why wasn't this firearm WITH A SILENCER confiscated upon registration sometime over the last 60 years? WHAT? you mean to tell me that criminals 'still' have access to unregistered weapons? HOW Can THAT BE, When the system is working so well, according to the Justice Minister.  These IDIOTS have spent a BILLION DOLLARS, and YOUR not one bit safer for it, and never will be!)
Operation Self Defense:Because self-defense is a basic human right...
Click here for the PosterWe are a collective of volunteer activists who devote a few minutes of time each day to search a small number of personally chosen news websites in order to find true accounts of armed self-defense in the news.(If you think that armed selfdefence is an American 'thing', 'your wrong' )
Frustrated gun owners sign plywood petition and plan to take it to Ottawa
EDMONTON (CP) - A new association formed by gun owners frustrated with the national firearms registry has begun collecting signatures on sheets of plywood with the intention of nailing the oblong petitions to the doors of Parliament, 24 Sussex Drive and Rideau Hall next January. [They are making noise and they are trying to draw attention to themselves, but I guess you could call this their last desperate measure," said David Austin, with the Canadian Firearms Centre in Ottawa. The average owner out there disassociates themselves with these groups and, you are going to find now, that the majority of Canadian hunters in the field this fall have already done everything they have to, to comply with the law." ](As usual, David Austin has his head up his ass, and is just plain 'whistling in the graveyard'! Your job is doomed, get over it.. The 'Average' hunter has not, and will not, register all his or her guns because your whole department was created on a lie, and exists only out of  the embarrassment the Liberals would feel if  they finally admitted its simply an uncontrolled FARCE. You can't run a government department $900,000,000,.00 over budget and expect the public to support you, especially when there is NO proven benefit to the department in the first place.)
Are YOU 'Canadian' or Are You BEER?
I'm not looking for any financial recompense, I just want to use the domain name and create a publicly accessible Web site and run a small business," said Douglas Black. The Web site developer and consultant registered the domain name  Canadian.biz through a lottery process in March, soon after new Web site domains were made available to the public, including the suffix .biz.  When Molson Inc. learned that Mr. Black planned to use the name Canadian.biz, the brewery demanded he transfer the name to Molson Canada.(Hmmm Perhaps Molsons should register WeOwnCanada.com or ScrewYouWereBig.com, or perhaps maybe the more appropriate: WeHaveBeerMoneyYourNothing.com or JustBecauseWeCan.com.. All are available and would highlight the 'real' reason for the harassment.)
Targeting terror U.S. deploys customs agents in Canada
The host country has the lead on that (inspections),"  said Michie, of U.S. Customs. "If they ask us to inspect the inside of the container, we'll do that." The discreet behavior on the part of the U.S. Customs targeters is necessary in part because of the secretive nature of their jobs, and in part because they pack guns. Canadian Customs inspectors are not armed, and Canada does not want gun-toting law enforcement officials from a foreign country ranging at will in Canada, where they lack jurisdiction.  "That's a deal-breaker for us," said Canadian  ambassador Kergin. (I guess 'our' customs inspectors are not deemed by the Liberals to be 'safe' enough to be armed, so instead they have armed Americans is case we need them.. What a crock!! I guess if our 'inspectors' find a horde of  armed terrorists at one of our ports of entry, they just have to call the Americans to do their job. Why? Because the Liberals feel Canadians with guns are unstable !)
Martin rides into the West
Martin envisions a profound overhaul of the relationship between MPs and the power structure in cabinet and the PMO. He wants backbenchers to take a hand in drafting legislation at early stages to increase their input, and he wants MPs to be free to vote their conscience on most bills rather than being forced by the party whip to support the government's position.(Wow, more public input, more freedom, more votes for MP's, more private members bills..yada-yada-yada.. Didn't we hear all this from Chrétien? The Liberals have been in power too long, and swapping heads on the snake is not going to make it less dangerous to the freedom of the average Canadian)
Old Pope, Shunned By  Old Poop
Organizers of the Pope's visit say they have been told Mr. Chrétien will not be part of the official welcoming party when the pontiff arrives in Toronto later this month to help celebrate World Youth Day. World Youth Day organizers say Deputy Prime Minister John Manley has been tabbed to represent the Prime Minister and the Governor General at the official welcome — a disappointment to the Roman Catholic community.(Maybe the Pope doesn't 'want' to shake hands with the devil himself, and prefers to meet with 'beaker' the second banana?)
Gunman kills two at L.A. airport
LOS ANGELES - A gunman opened fire at Israel's El Al airlines ticket counter at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday, killing two people before an airline security guard shot him dead, authorities said. Witnesses said an El Al security guard shot the man once at close range after the attacker had been disarmed and was being held on the floor.(Some folks may think this action was rather extreme, but it 'does' get rid of another sick asshole with a gun, and he won't be back to do it again! It's definitive action like this that keeps El Al  the most secure airline in the world. Had something like this happened in Canada, many more people would have died. There are no armed airline security, and most of the airline employees would have been shot while dialling 911, or waiting for the RCMP to cordon off the area, call in a swat team, and wait for the shooting to stop before entering the building.  Of course,  all the blame would have been put on the GUN as usual, and more 'orders in council'  by the government to disarm the law abiding, ban and confiscate from all legal owners, any  gun that  might look like the firearm used by the asshole. The guy also had a knife, but hey knives are inanimate objects, and unlike the evil gun, the Liberals feel the ownership of a knife does not make you a potential criminal.)
Ottawa cuts out the middlemen
Goodale yesterday announced he was cutting out the middlemen — lobbyists, consultants and ad agencies — from the $40 million-a-year program.(They are now determined to waste your tax dollars directly. "We don need no Steenking middle men"... Keep in mind, that this program is PEANUTS compared with the BILLION they are wasting with the Firearms Farce. With a fist full of cash, they will now flush it directly into the numerous troughs and slush funds required to put forth the various hidden agendas. This move will almost certainly become source and  subject of many 'Parliamentary Secrets' which will now be shielded from public scrutiny and access to information requests for 'security' reasons. Canadians have good reason not to trust this government, and only a fool would think this move is going to solve any Liberal corruption problems.)
Wal-Mart introduces new gun-sales policy(Globe&Mail)
Details of the Wal-Mart policy are set forth in an internal memo from the Bentonville-based retailer obtained by Associated Press. Ms. Eldred confirmed that the memo had been sent out last month to all 2,600 U.S. stores and that the new policy is now in effect.(The WalMart Policy is a moot point in Canada, as WalMart has decided to bypass the ridiculous Canadian gun dealer licensing system as as a result, only sells non firearm type airguns. They do sell ammunition, and I have always found it amusing that I have to take a safety course, and acquire a licence to buy or posses ammunition.  Yet, the 'kid' behind the walmart counter has immediate access to thousands of rounds af many different calibre's and requires no background check, or licensing at all.. I guess you only become a potential criminal, and un trusted by the Liberals, when you actually own a gun.. )
In S.A. The Bible belt puts faith in the gun belt
Hammond claimed that the biggest threat to life is a government which asserts gun control. "Secular governments that have disarmed populations have killed 160 million people in the 20th century. All holocausts and genocides have been preceded by gun control." He added: "You can't protect the right to life if you don't have the right to self-defence." (When armed, your a 'citizen', disarmed, your a 'subject'. Jean 'the weasel' and his Liberals obviously prefer subjects, The 'Martin' will be no different.)
Gun squad credited for murder drop
Toronto police are crediting their newly created  gun task force for a drop of almost 50 per cent in the city's murder rate. The city has had 12 homicides this year, compared with 22 during the first six months of 2001. Police attribute the decrease to the task force, which was established as  a pilot program in January to reduce gun-related crimes. With 14 designated  officers, the task force became a permanent part of Toronto Police Services in May.(Perhaps someone should point out to the Liberals, that SUCCESS  is what happens when more police are assigned to projects such as this. Can you imagine how much the crime rate would be down if  the government had divided a Billion Dollars among Canada's major police forces? Instead, that amount was, and is still being wasted, on a harassment and registration boondoggle aimed squarely at law abiding firearms owners.
ONE BILLION DOLLARS WOULD HAVE PUT MORE THAN 1000 POLICE OFFICERS ON THE STREET FOR 20 YEARS. This 'should' have been a 'no-brainer' even for the Liberals!)
These guys won’t be victims.
"Hey, you f***ing faggots!" one yelled. "When we're done with you, they'll never find your bodies." Palmer and his pal ran for their lives, with the thugs in hot pursuit.  Palmer pulled a semi-automatic handgun from his backpack. He stood and waved it beneath a street light. His tormentors swiftly retreated. "There's no question in my mind," Palmer said, "that my friend and I would have been at least very seriously beaten, and maybe killed."(Here's two people that are alive today because they are 'not' unarmed Canadians)
Goodale likely to reactivate part of the Liberal Trough
Some of those contracts simply weren't fulfilled, such as $333,000 for advertising at a Quebec City hunting and fishing show that was cancelled, or  $330,000 for a communications strategy on firearms registration that was neither requested by nor ever received by the Justice Department, which administers the program. Critics say other contracts did not come close to providing value for money. One company received $112,000 in commissions for passing money from Public Works to Via Rail to sponsor a film on hockey icon Maurice(Rocket) Richard. Another company was paid $116,000 to write a report on how it spent an earlier $320,000 to place federal ads at auto races.(Well, you can see how they hid 'another' lump of cash wasted on the firearms flop.  I wonder if the government will pay 'me' to write a report on how I spent my tax refund? Wait a minute!! What Tax Refund? This government, currently steals more money out of your pocket, than any other government in the history of Canada.. You wont see ANY of it back until just before the next election! Remember the federal 'heating rebate' just before the 'last' election?)
Liberal underfunding requires Armed Forces to turn recruits away
Ottawa — Even though the Canadian Forces spend millions every year to attract new members, hundreds of would-be soldiers were turned back this summer because the Forces could not afford to train them. Prime Minister Jean Chrétien said a 50-per-cent increase in funding would be unlikely because demands on the government purse are many and resources to meet them are limited. (But, there doesn't seem to be any end to the money they have, and will continue to waste on useless firearms registration, criminalizing, and confiscating the firearms of law abiding citizens, in the ongoing effort to further disarm the country from with-in)
Naked Driver is now at home waiting for 'The Knock on the Door'
One motorist who managed to slip away was the naked man observed by a truck driver, who called police with his plate number. He left the highway before police found him. "It seems the man's underwear was proudly displayed on the dashboard and he was, well, touching himself inappropriately," Woolley said. "I guess he was really excited about the holiday weekend." (Gee, whats the charge? Mabe his 'barrel' was under 105mm)
Hezbollah, Al Qaeda Seen Joining Forces
Although cooperation between al Qaeda and Hezbollah may have been going on at some level for years, the U.S. war against al Qaeda has hastened and deepened the relationship. U.S. officials believe that after al Qaeda was driven from Afghanistan, leader Osama bin Laden sanctioned his operatives to ally themselves with helpful Islamic-based groups, said a senior administration official with access to daily intelligence reorts. European and U.S. intelligence operatives on the ground in Africa and Asia said they have been trying to convince headquarters of the new alliances but have been rebuffed. "We have been screaming at them for more than a year now, and more since  September 11th, that these guys all work together," an overseas operative said. "What we keep hearing back is that it can't be because al Qaeda doesn't work that way. That is [expletive]. Here, on the ground, these guys all work together as long as they are Muslims. There is no other division that matters." (The Canadian government has had their heads stuck in the sand since Sept.11. Chrétien won't admit to his party allowing thousands of bogus refugees/terrorists to have virtually free reign in this country for years. Preferring to spend a billion dollars, incriminating hundreds of thousands of law abiding Hunters and target shooters in his quest to make the country internally defenceless while diverting funds from the military in a time of war.. Makes you wonder, Who's side is he on anyway?)
Border Patrol Protecting the U.S. From Canadian Drugs & Terrorists
The terrorist attacks of Sept. 11 focused extra attention on securing the border. No one wants to be responsible for letting the next group of terrorists into the country, Graham said. They use night-vision scopes, thermal imaging devices, motion sensors, and a truck with a hoist that lifts a night-vision lens 15 feet into the air for 360-degree views that run for miles. They carry automatic weapons and pistols. While attention focuses on threats from terrorists, much of the Border Patrol's  job in Oroville consists of stopping people carrying 50-pound hockey bags full of marijuana -- especially the potent "B.C. bud" said to provide highs of near-mythic proportions.(Can you imagine if the tables were turned, and the terrorist and drugs were coming from the U.S. into Canada? They would be able to just walk across the border just about anyplace because our border patrols are unarmed, and defenceless. The RCMP are in the remote areas, because a 911 response to an unarmed border employee would take too long. Guns seem to flow pretty free across the major border points, as indicated by the Grimsby murders, and is there any doubt the billion dollars wasted on the gun control farce could have actually saved some lives if spent on border security.. But why bother, the terrorists are already on this side, and have been for years.. All it took were the 7 magic words "I am Refugee--I Will Vote Liberal")

Jean 'The Weasel', Smearing the 'Martin' name
Their hope is to have the review vote delayed or the result of it sufficiently put in question until such time as the PM goes to the polls to clear the air with a stick-it-to-Martin early election call. The Chrétien insider said also that there is no way the PM will submit to two votes in the coming review, as is called for by the new rules. One vote is tallied from early meetings to select delegates in each riding. Another vote is  at the review convention itself. Only one vote will count, the Chrétien adviser warned. If Mr. Chrétien can't win the campaign, he must find a way to subvert it. Enter then, as the Martin camp sees it, Jean Chrétien the authoritarian man --  the same leader who has been accused repeatedly over the past two years of turning democracy into autocracy. That he would try to shut down their bid through strong-armed tactics comes as no surprise to them. Such tactics have been in evidence with almost every  passing week. One could even forget -- though the PM likely had a hand in it -- the purging of Ottawa Citizen publisher Russ Mills last week.(How much difference is there between a 'Weasel' and a 'Martin' anyway? The best chance this country has of ridding itself of the Liberals Party, is to allow Jean 'The Weasel' Chrétien to stay in control until the next general election. The only thing that would cinch the deal, would be if he took a lesson from Mulroney, and slapped the county in the face by appointing someone like Sheila Copps as the new P.M. before he retires.)
Ontario Premier will step in if strike creates health hazard
"If the government thinks health and safety is being compromised at any time, we will take the appropriate action and  recall the legislature and deal with it," he said. The strike by 6,800 garbage workers, paramedics and parks and recreation staff threatens to blot the city's image as it prepares to host its Gay Pride parade this weekend, the Molson Indy next week and World Youth Day, when the Pope and thousands of visitors arrive in Toronto, next month.(Perhaps a quick lesson in the: Fana Kuma - The Sport of Rat Shooting  might be in order)
Cyber-Attacks by Al Qaeda Feared
Working with experts at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the FBI traced trails of a broader reconnaissance. A forensic summary of the investigation, prepared in the Defense Department, said the bureau found "multiple casings of sites" nationwide. Routed through telecommunications switches in Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Pakistan, the visitors studied emergency telephone systems, electrical generation and transmission, water storage and distribution, nuclear power plants and gas facilities. Because the digital controls were not designed with public access in mind, they  typically lack even rudimentary security, having fewer safeguards than the purchase of flowers online. Much of the technical information required to penetrate these systems is widely discussed in the public forums of the affected industries, and specialists said the security flaws are well known to potential attackers. . (This Washington Post Article is a fascinating but scary read! You are not as safe as you think! Perhaps you live downstream from a dam, or near a nuclear facility (California cities are already handing out iodine tablets to combat radiation sickness). I have linked to the 'printer friendly' version for convenience. As it would look, the enemy would only need the information in the CFC database to see who might be a potential threat, after bringing down the entire infrastructure. In a time of  obviously potential attack, the less they know about what you have, the better off we'll all be! The Liberal Government, with their 'head stuck in the sand' policies, have no right to endanger the general public by stockpiling data in a un-inspected private computer system, held by a private corporation,  detailing  your private interior defence capabilities. Liberal governments have always put the priority of Military, and Security at the bottom of the list. Traditionally depending on the Americans for protection.  When, not If America is attacked again, their priorities will be American Citizens, and rightly so. They may have no capability to cover the ass of this increasingly incompetent Government. Do YOU trust your families security to our current militarily incompetent government? I Didn't think so!)
