Still more anecdotes
To your right you will find a picture of Christine.  I have a long and sorted history with Christine, dating back to the mid-90's.  I met her in a pretty unlikely place, a MUD.  You can find information on what a MUD is elsewhere on this and many other sites.

Suffice to say, Christine is not what most people think of when they envision a person playing an online computer game that involves killing goblins and acquiring gold.

To be fair, she dosen't actively play the game anymore.  She hasn't been one of those people (my people) in a couple of years, now.  Still, it's something to think about that the weirdo computer geek sitting at their desk until all hours of the night talking to people about monsters and which magic item is best might not be the geek we all think of.  It might be Christine.

I'd like to take these last few sentences to say that those are some killer boots that Christine is wearing in this picture.
This is a picture containing the guy who may or may not be a scotsman.  I still don't believe it.  Besides the fact that he just didn't seem Scottish, and the fact that he kept mentioning that he was, he remarked upon my Lucky Strikes as though he was very familiar with them.  Now, as far as I know, Luckies aren't available outside the US too much.  It seems very odd that a European would be so familiar with an American cigarette.  Of course I could be completely wrong.  I don't know who that girl is.
This is Chuck with everyone's favorite otherworldly presence, Cthulu.  Aww...

I didn't know Chuck knew the House of Toast people until I inexplicably saw him hanging out with them.

Incidentally, I'd like to thank Katherine the narcoleptic for taking this picture, the one above it and a couple others, too.
This is a picture of the front of the House of Toast, which is the room resposible for quite a few pictures in the anecdote section so far.

For a small suggested donation, the House of Toast would prepare you toast with anything you want from a huge variety of toppings.  My personal favorite was the wasabi and pain.

The toasties were good to me, all things considered.

They also had some sushi.
