| A bit about the Manchester Lamb Club & Raising of Club Lambs: Membership is open to any person entering the 5th through 11th grade & lives within the area that covers the Manchester School District (Manchester, Michigan 48158 USA). Application/Contracts for membership are available at the Manchester High; Middle Schools October-November, and are due in by January 1st. We hold monthly meetings starting in February and go through July. In these meetings we learn how to care for and show our club lambs, work on educational exhibits for viewing at the fair, and share ideas to improve our community education & involvement. We also learn the financial end of raising lambs, for one of our club requirements are that each member must hand in a 'set of records'. All Lambs are purchased through one breeder, approximately 90 days prior to the Manchester Fair. These lambs are treated for overeating, tetanus &; wormed, then, tagged and weighed, on the day of lamb pick-up. The Manchester Lamb Club wants to THANK YOU for your support and participation.
