How do you know if you are in an abusive relationship?
(The abuser could be anyone—spouse, parent, boss, etc.)

  - How do you feel about yourself 60% of the time?
  - Do you like yourself? Do you think you are a person of worth?
  - How do you feel about yourself when with other people?

  - Are there times when you are afraid?
  - If so, think about when and who is around at the time,.

  - Do you feel as though you are "walking on egg shells"
when around that person?

  - Do you dread being around that person
(and it can be more than one)?

  - Are you always making excuses for that person
e.g. it is the alcohol, she/he is under a lot of stress,
I shouldn’t have burned the toast, etc.
