| These tests are more commonly used in a clinical setting but may be ordered for child custody cases or suspected abuse cases. Each test has been widely researched for specific uses. |
| Care is essential in selection and interpretation of psychological instruments. Tests should be administered to the population for which they have been designed. When taking any personality test it is important to be honest; don’t try to over analyze the test items. Most tests are written at an eighth grade reading level. |
