| After high school I attended a small liberal arts church college in MO. College in MO was fun. |

| A year later I transferred to a nursing program in Iowa. I enjoyed working with patients but my personality was a terrible fit in a conservative farming community. I didn’t respond well to being told how I "should" talk, dress, and date. I became stubborn and defensive. I was also lonely and sad. Graduation was a blessing. |
