Rant: The midsummer rant.
Well, things have been going slow this past two months. Not a single update, although, I wasn't the only one. Homestar Runner.com hasn't updated in two months too, and their web-site is how they make their living (or is it?).
Well reason for no updating is that I haven't worked on anything at all, seriously. I've been having major writers' block.
But that should change soon, I went to a Nine Inch Nails concert on Saturday(07/01), and a day later I could feel that my imagination was recharged.
Thank you Trent Reznor, Nine Inch Nails, and Bauhaus, Thanks to your guys' kick ass show that restored my imagination. (And absolutely no thanks to peaches, seriously, you're terrible, go back to soft-core porn.)
Also, I'm going to visit my Grandmother in Ohio for the week (07/10 to 07/17.). I'm hoping that the change of surroundings would help in some way of getting my mind back to work on creative things.
Now some of you may have notices that there was some changes with the rants in the archives. Well, you see, I decided to remove all traces of my characters, ideas, stories, and projects until I get my work copyrighted. Although I need to get a lot of work done on my actual work before I can even think of copyrighting anything. Now you might be thinking (but most likely you aren't.) "But isn't the purpose of your site is to tell people about your projects?" Well, it was, for a time. But I made this site accidently while I was messing about on geocities. Since I started it, it's been going though a lot of different purposes. First it was going to be a site about my favorite things. Then it became something like a blog, and little while after that I started to call my blog like thing a "Rant" and I started posting "picture of the update." I got the idea to call my blog like thing a "rant" and "picture of the update" from MegaTokyo.com. Then I got the idea to show off my work on here, although the fear of idea-thieves killed that one. So what's for this site now? It's whatever I care to make it, that's what. I can do whatever I want on this site (unless it violates geocities's term of services contract.), It's just one more purpose lost.
Anyway, I can still put fan art/fan factions done by me on here, and stuff that I wouldn't care if somebody did steal. So you could say that the new purpose of this site is the showcase my talents for all to see. But even that purpose may be lost for whatever reason. So in the end, the entire site is just a personal web-site for my personal use. If not anything, it's good shortcut to Hellz Fire for people who don't know the url for the forum.

New Art in the Art&Writings page, will be soon.
The latest story progress bar has been pushed back to 20% done, read rant for details.
Rant: *** may just have to wait a little longer.
Now, you may have notice that the progress bar for my latest project has dropped by 10%. Well if your wondering why, (But chances are you don't, and probably don't even give f*** what I do.) Well you see, I was estimating the progress on the Story only by the pages I've written. Silly me, I've forgotten that after the first draft is done, there's still will be a lot more work to be done. Work like: Finalizing the names, editing, the test reviews, etc. So as of now, 20% Done.
As for the Story itself, There seems to be a plot forming now. I have more of a idea of what I'm actually doing with the story, Although, I seem to be hitting blocks along the way. I have an idea of two things happening in the story, but I just don't know how to link them together. I should be able to knock these bocks down after I work with the story a little more.
Now, about a month ago, A friend asked me to do the art for a comic he wants to do. At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to do that, since I was already working on my own project(s). Well after seeing the first page of the rough draft (he only wrote one page so far) I decided to do the comic after all. It will probably help me with my drawing techniques. practice does make perfect after all (Or that's what they, want you to think.). I'm not sure how much of the comic I can talk about at the moment, so I'm not going to talk about the story, character, and plot yet. (Then again, is there a plot?). Oh, and just to let you know. The reason we haven't got much done with this comic yet, is that we spend most of the time just making mini comics of us making the comic.
Also, I've decided to go ahead and put up some of my art I've already drawn. I didn't want to put them up yet, because what I have now is sketching. I wanted to do stuff like inking, and putting on finishing touches. But since I don't have the time, I'm going to go ahead and them up anyway.
That's about it for this update, It's 2:09 a.m. Monday morning, and I have to put this up at 10 a.m.. And I still have more work to do before I can even think of sleep. Now I kind of know how Mr. Vasquez may have felt when stayed up, working on fillerbunny..

News and Updates.
My latest project, (a short story about being in the work force.) is starting to come along now, It's about 30% done. It should be ready it time for summer.
Hellz Fire has moved to a new web host. We still need members, hopefully the new place will bring more members in. And the new Hellz Fire has a portal. I'm not sure why, or what it's even for but it's there.
Rant: Prepare for....***** ********* ***!!
The story is really starting to take shape. Although I don't have a outline of the story, I'm just kind of throwing ideas into the story and organizing them into events which occur throughout the day. Which, when you think about it. That's pretty much what happens in real life. There's no set way of how the day is going to unfold. Just ideas of what's going to happen at some point in the day. Basically the day unfolds by the decisions that people (or other things) make. So the way I'm writing the story isn't too deficient because sometimes that's just how it happens in real life.
Now other then the two main characters, I haven't decided what I should name the characters. I'm just using temporary names right now just so I can get the draft written. I will change the names when I do the final version of the story. I think I might just hunt down a few of my co-worker and ask them if it would be okay to use their names. Now the characters in the story are not based on my old co-workers in anyway what so ever. The characters are based off the type of co-workers I had, their not based on real people at all.
I've decided that I will write a series of stories using the characters ******* and ****. But even though this story is the first I've actually written, it will not be the official first story of the series. After I'm done with this I will write the story which will be the official first story of the series. The series will have seven to thirteen stories using the "Continue the story thread" on Hellz Fire as a rough draft for the final story of the series . (Don't worry, I will give full credit for the parts of the story, ideas, and characters to the people who posted them in the Continue the story thread. I'm not some bastard who steals other peoples ideas and use them as my own, that's just wrong.)
I bet I lost a few people there. Their probably thinking "why is he working on this story instead of the first one?". Well you see, I decided to write this story when I got the idea to write a story for Hellz Fire's story board. It was just going to be a one page story, but once I started writing it just grew into something bigger. Now it's going to be a ten page or more story.
So as right now: 30% done. I'm going to put a progress bar in the Art&Writings page.

Rant: The last of the blog-ish Rants. (Or is it?)
Well it's been a while hasn't. Well I guess 1st, some catching up is in order.
I got a new car a few weeks ago. It's a ‘93 Buick Lesabre, So I'm mobile again. I haven't got a job yet though, And my 1st car payment is coming up.....I'm screwed. I do have a job interview at the new Meijer's this Tuesday. Cross your fingers, and hope that I get the job. Because the last thing I need is the bank's hit-man coming over and breaking my arm :).
Like I said above in News, I have A MySpace account now, so I'm going to blog on there, but I'm still going to do a monthly rant on here, it just wouldn't be as blogish.
In other news, one my favorite flash Authors, Bryan Custer ( a.k.a Hyperactive Youth) has just released a new movie: Minus the Bear. Now unlike his other flash movies, he completely left out the comedy aspect. Although It's still A very good movie, watch it!
I'm currently working on a short story. It's base upon my experiences from working at D.Q. And being in the work force in general. The two main characters are ******* and ****, the same two characters from the "Continue the story" thread on Hellz Fire. But this story takes place a quite a few months before the events of the "Continue the story thread". I like these two characters I made, I think I'll use them in quite few projects.

And Now, My Review of
Trigun Maximum volume 8: Silent Ruin, by Yasuhiro Nightow.
It starts shortly after the last volume left off. Knives has imprisoned Vash and has set out to "save" his brethren. And at the same time, throw the planet of Gunsmoke in to chaos. Now this isn't as fun as the other Trigun manga were, but once you start reading it you won't be able to stop. And it still has its funny parts. This manga also has a special "spin-off" chapter based on everybody's favorite gun slinging priest, Nicholas D. Wolfwood.
The manga has a lot of characterization for Wolfwood, who hasn't had a lot of characterization in past mangas. We learn a great deal of his past, and who Wolfwood truly is. Overall a very good read. I give Trigun Maximum volume 8: Silent Ruin, by Yasuhiro Nightow. A 4 out of 5.

I decided to trash the idea of the "My profile" page, so it's gone. Hellz Fire is dead. Every body even the Moderators and the Administrators seemly abandoned the place. So now all that lift is the maggots that continue to post spam-threads.

Rant: My undead nazi killing spree in South America. (Note: The title has nothing to do with the rant.)
Man, I've been bored to death lately (luckily my brother has magic pendent that brought me back to life, wasn't that nice of him.). I mean there's nothing to do around here. Only thing to do is schoolwork and go on the Internet. I wish I had a car again, and then I could just get up and go somewhere.
And to make things worst, I have writers block. So now I have time to write (and draw) but don't have an idea to write with.
I'm still having problems getting a car/job.
Since we don't have any extra cash, my parents won't even look at a car for sale. Well, no, my Dad will at the least look at a car. My Mom on the other hand, when I bring up the subject she will say, "I wish you had a car too". But then she has this attitude like I should just wait for it to happen. Of course, no one (except rich kids) got a car by just waiting for it to happen.
And getting a job has been difficult too, since no one is hiring. And the people who are hiring, I either can't or don't want to work for them.
On to something else…
Last week I talked my Mom into taking me to "Borders" after church. So, when I got there I did what I always do when I go to Borders, I went straight for the manga section. And the first thing I saw was "BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo", At last they finally got in stock. I immediately brought it, along with Yu-Gi-Oh volume 2 and Hellsing volumes 6 through 7. So here's my quick overview if them:
BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo by Yoshio Sawai. First off, for some strange reason the Chapters* in this seem to be the later Chapters not the first (* In a manga, a chapter is like a issue of a comic book.). Also it doesn't have a numbering, so this is probably the only BoBo-Bo manga to be published in the U.S. Unless the Shonen Jump starts running it in it's monthly U.S. magazine. Now although the anime is much more wackier then the manga, the manga is by far more weird. I give BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo by Yoshio Sawai,
A 4 out of 5.
Hellsing vol.6, and Hellsing vol.7 by Kohta Hirano. Mangas just don't get any better than this. War is in full swing in these volumes of Hellsing, and these are by far the bloodiest mangas I've ever read. You just have to read them for your self to see the awesomeness.
I give both Hellsing vol.6, and Hellsing vol.7 by Kohta Hirano, a 5 out of 5.
Alucard rocks!!!!!
Yu-Gi-Oh! vol.2 By Kazuki Takahashi. The card game that everybody associates with
Yu-Gi-Oh makes it's first appears in this volume. Unlike the anime where the game is called "Duel Monsters", it's called "Magic and Wizards" in the manga. And the story of Yugi and Kaiba's first duel goes much differently then in the anime. A 4 out of 5.
