Dear All,

Well, it's past midnight but I must put fingers to keyboard in order to make Sherry's deadline for this letter.

I just wanted to say hi to all of you and let you know that I think of you with fine memories.  It doesn't seem that long ago that I went to school with all of you - however, it's my 41st birthday today, so that makes it around 25 years ago that I rubbed shoulders with you at Morrison.  Seems like yesterday !

Just to fill you in on my own family.  My husband Tom changed jobs about 15 months ago and works for a hardware store called "Banner".  It is a much smaller store than the last one he was working for.  He started out loving it, but unfortunately he isn't very thrilled with his job at the moment, but it is a job, and that's a lot more than some have.

I continue to do voluntary secretarial work for a sports chaplain who was part of the Australian Paralympic Team that was competing in Athens.  My brother Tim, also has a computer shop which is next to where our children go to school, so I have been helping out there - from paper work, to building computers!  I love building the computers.  I continue to paly the flute at church, and I like to support those who need help with babysitting, or needing a meal cooked etc.

Our eldest daughter Alexandra is nearly 18, has just finished her last year of school and has done well in her final exams.  God willing she will go to University next year to study Pharmacy - a four year degree, or Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology - a 3 year degree, and then gain entrance to the graduate Pharmacy degree which is a further 2 years.  She has had a part time job at Pizza Hut since she was 15, and saved for her car which she bought the day after she got her licence when she was 16 and a half.  She is a great kid!

Georgina is nearly 16 and has just finished year 10 - her sophomore year.  She too is a great kid, and especially on fire for the Lord.  Her amibition is to be a high school teacher, and to mentor young kids.  In the mean time she too works at Pizza Hut part time, getting the job as soon as she turned 14 years and 9 months!  She couldn't wait to get a job!  She also has a Christmas job at Big W, so she is kept busy.  Her mother is kept busy driving children here, there, and everywhere, but big sister comes in handy, and is so sweet about helping out with the pickups and drop offs when needed.  Georgina loves to sing and play the piano !

Joshua will be 15 in March, and is a big boy!  He love playing the guitar and has been known to fall asleep while playing the guitar!!  He excels at anything to do with video editing or things like that, but is not too keen on the school work side of things!  I am hoping that will all come with time and maturity as he enters year 10 this year.  He too works at Tim's shop a couple of afternoons after school and some Saturdays, and is learning more and more about computers, while at the same time earning a bit of pocket money.  He has also just scored a job at Pizza Hut, now that he has turned 14 years 9 months!!  He is yet to have his first shift, but it will be soon!  The job will be his just so long as he doesn't have a "run-in" with his eldest sister!!

Thomas will be 13 at the beginning of April, and will be entering high school.  The school the children attend has 5 sub-schools made up of over 3,000 students.  The campus that the children are on goes from kindergarten to the final year, so there is no need to change schools.  He has recently started riding his bike around the place, and riding it to his friend's houses so that has given him some independence during the start of our summer school holidays.  He loves to sing and dance!

Well, that's about all there is!  We have been truly blessed, and I pray that as this Christmas approaches, each one of you will experience the wonder of God's love.  He is the reason for the season.
