Chemistry SAT II SEMINAR
Monta Vista
PTA will offer a Chemistry SAT II seminar staring in February 2009. We are pleased to announce that Ms. Kavita Gupta will be our teacher
for this session. This seminar offers
review on materials that are NOT covered in the Chemistry Honor syllabus.
This session is mainly for student who is
currently taking Chemistry Honor class and will be taking Chemistry SAT II
subject test in 2009.
The cost
per student is $200. This fee does NOT
include the registration fee for the SAT Test. Registration materials and test dates are available
in the

session is limited to a maximum of 40 students. Selection is based on first come first served
basis.
The
registration deadline is Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Confirmation e-mail will be sent in the last
week of January. The enrollment list
will also be posted at the Library at the same time. Please make sure the contact information is
clearly written on the registration form.

COMPLETED) SAT 1 & PSAT SEMINARS - FALL 2008
For
twenty plus years, the Monta Vista PTA has sponsored workshops to prepare
students for the SAT I and PSAT tests.
We are pleased to announce that Mr. Martin Jennings and Ms. Debbie Vanni
will be teaching the sessions offered during the fall of 2008-2009 school
year. The meeting dates and times are
listed below. These seminars offer some
broad subject review in the areas of mathematics and English, with
concentration on test taking skills and strategies.
The
cost per student is $130.00
for each PSAT session and $185.00 for each SAT I session. This fee includes the SAT textbook used for
the course. This fee does NOT
include the registration fee for either the SAT I Test or the PSAT Test. Registration materials and SAT I test
dates are available in the
Enrollment for each session is limited to
a maximum of 40/45
students. Priority will be given to seniors and juniors, who will be admitted
to each session on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Sophomores will be admitted as space allows. Freshmen will NOT be admitted in the Fall
sessions. Freshmen who are interested in
this seminar are encouraged to enroll in the Spring sessions.

registration deadline for SAT 1 Session
I and the PSAT Session I is Wednesday, August 27. A list of students accepted in each session
will be posted in the library on

II and the PSAT Session II is Friday, September 19. A list of students accepted in each session
will be posted in the library on
Friday, September 26.
Refunds will NOT be given after
the first meeting of each session.

Please Note: The fee for the SAT/PSAT workshops does NOT
cover registration for the SAT and PSAT Exams.
