---------------------------------------------------------------------- ( I ) GODS’ WORD & SATANS’ ATTACK Scripture writes of Satans’ attack on God which involved the Word of God. Satan first questions the words of God and then he proceeds to deny, pervert and twist the words of God; 1. Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2. And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. - Genesis 3:1-6 So the scriptures share three means of attack by which Satan deceives people as he questions, denies and perverts the clearly stated and unalterable words of God. When Jesus Christ, the Son of God, walks as a man on earth and is tempted by Satan, He uses the scriptures to defeat the Satanic attacks; 4. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. - Matthew 4:4 7. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. - Matt. 4:7 10. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. - Matt. 4:10 The holy scriptures as translated into the English language of the KJV can be completely trusted to be a translated work which has no need for change or retranslation. The scriptural example of Satans’ attack on the Word of God sufficiently proves that such activity is evidently corrupt and thus has its’ origin with him. These standards and parameters within the content of the King James scripture further proves that its’ English translation is pure and absolute truth which needs no further retranslation or alteration. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
