( O )   THE ISSUE OF TRANSLATIONAL ERROR; OT  -  2 SAMUEL 6:6-8

The Old Testament also shares this unfortunate situation regarding error;

6.  And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.
7.  And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah;
and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.
8.  And David was displeased, because the Lord had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day.  -  2 Samuel 6:6-8

In this situation, error provokes Gods’ anger against Uzzah resulting in Uzzahs’ death.  If there were any translational error within the content of the King James Version of holy scripture as  translated into the English language, then KJV scripture would be guilty of provoking the Lord God to anger for the same reason that Uzzah provoked Gods’ anger against him thus causing his death.   That reason being error.  If this were the case of the translated work of the KJV, then rather than being a tool for salvation, KJV scriptures should rather be a corrupted work of which God has been displeased.  Such a corrupted and erroneous work in no manner could ever provide light and truth of the salvation which God has provided in Christ Jesus.  Rather, such an erroneous work would contradict various of its’ self proclaimed capabilities to provide salvation and spiritual growth as found within its’ writings, ( Prov. 6:23 / Psalms 119:9-11 & 101-105 / Romans 1:16-17 / James 1:18 / 1 Peter 1:22-23 / Eph. 1:12-13 / John 1:12-13 ).  These standards and parameters within the content of the King James scripture further proves that its’ English translation is pure and absolute truth which needs no further retranslation or alteration.
