Motorcycles, Cars & Whatever!
A collection of current and retired vehicles of The Johnson's and extended Family
Here is brother Mark's 1969 Ford Van that eventually burnt to the ground! This guy has some hard luck with vehicles and fires. More info once he has some time to jot it down for me.
This is another classic owned by Mark, a 1971 Monte Carlo he called "DOOK - The get-away car". This was a great car with a big block 402c.i. engine. It had a turbo-400 tranny and cruised like a dream. Unfortunatly Mark missed a turn one day  and totalled it! Gladly MJ was ok but heartbroken over the loss of this all time great Chevy.
A 1977 Olds Cutlass Supreme, one that our mother owned until she left us. From what I understand the car eventually ended up a "Drug Lord" car. Probably still considered in 2002 the favored choice of Lowriders, and you know what i'm talking about. Mom drove the heck out of this thing in the High Desert's of Southern California and it treated her well. Just another in a long line of cool cars of the Johnson's.

At age 73, Dad decided he needed to get a bike again and got 2 in two days! His original intention was to get a street bike to ride in the dirt so the local neighbors wouldn't call the Sheriff on him. They don't take a liking to dirt bikers tearing up the desert anymore, and anything that resembles a dirt bike, they are on the phone. So he bought the 250 Honda Rebel. Came home and rode it once and nearly dumped it with those slick tires. Decided to go back and get a dirt bike anyway! My brother and I tried to convince hime to opt for the dirt bike in the first place, but you know how these things go once a parent has his mind set. It's a Honda family now.
The latest addition to the Johnson collection of ORV's. My son Gerrit is now ready to tear up the dirt with his new/used 1999 Yamaha YZ-250. We found this one at John Burris Motorcycles in Fontana. It runs real good and has no real damage after full inspection. It appears to have been only play ridden and taken decent care of. It will need to be re-jetted and all the fluids have been changed to new and the normal upgrades in hardware and graphics will be gone over.
Brand new 1958 Hilman Van after being driven from San Jose to Apple Valley. A European SUV of sorts. The van was utilized to transport Dads brand new 1959 Triumph that his friend Philly Cancilla gave to him on a visit just one week prior to this photo being taken! They had to remove the handlebars and lay the Triumph on its side to make the trek!
